I've always wanted to do something like this. Was the security guard watching the whole time? I wonder what gave it away since a balloon in a mall is pretty common. I guess once it got that big, it started to scare everyone, but still it's just a balloon pop, no need to freak out over it...

The guard was probably mad that if he wasn't aware of the balloon, it might sound like a gunshot when it popped. In which case, he'd actually have to do some real work. ;)

Lesson for next time...
Hide the camera in amongst hand bags, shoppping bags, in the gardens, wherever you can.
You definately have to try that again.
