Google is interested in one thing - driving ad revenues higher. What that means to the common user is not completely understand. Imagine a world where every world you type is searched upon and in return information is given back to you with bias based on who is shelling out the most money today. Have a glass of water, wake up... you are in that day. Microsoft and Google are battling and Google has been pour money into it's ad machine... Microsoft will not be beat easily... just wait and see.
