That gearbox is stuffed, so is the engine. That's what happens when you push them beyond the manufacturers tolerance levels - they break!

A short shifter has absolutely no purpose as most people using them can't change gear any faster!

Thats a nice shifter. Is there a website where it could ordered? I've been looking for short throw shifters and the only one's I could find are the ones made by mookeeh. And from the negative reviews from customers, I don't like the sound of that shifter.

hey. if you dont mind me asking, what is that knocking noise. cause my supra has a similar noise i just cant tell where its coming from exactly. I first guessed somewhere in the valvetrain but i have a buddy who told me it was my clutch. I just wanted to see what yours was.

That's called a rod knock, and if you keep on driving your Supras, guys, you're gonna end up like me with a rod out the side of your engine block. NOT good times when a 7M-series motor costs anywhere from 2,500 to 3,400 for just the bottom end.

True but jesus man, you can pick up a second hand 7M-GTE with everything for like £450 ($900), and rebuild it to near perfect for less money than what you've said!
