  • If this guy decides to run for president, he'd have an enthusiastic following.

  • I'm starting to like this guy every time I hear him speak I like him more & more. I'm curious where he stood on the National Defense Authorization Act? I hope he called Obama & all the pussy Democrats that voted for it out on their treason. I also hope he called Obama out on not letting the tax cuts for the wealthy expire like he should have or only charging a $100 a day fine to insurance companies that don't pay valid claims which they would gladly pay than paying for cancer treatment LOL!!!

  • Notice in the start of this video. When they show the American flag and on both sides there are 2 white flags with symbols on them. What are those symbols of? It is a bundle of rods with an axe in the middle known as fasci. THAT is where we got the word facist from. If you still believe we are in the REPUBLIC, that should be all the proof you need. We are in the senate of Rome. Wake up. Become a sovereign also known as a STATE CITIZEN, then and only then will your voice be heard.

  • Tim Ryan is the best! Keep up the good work Mr. Ryan.

    Greetings from Norway:-)

  • I'm a worker in America ... in Ohio actually and I don't get a pension ... In fact, I have to help fund Union workers pensions. What the hell is fair about that?

  • damm right

  • I voted no,if you want to subject our citizens to poverty just get a gun and a mask and be done with it.You have nothing to worry about, unless someone sets you on fire- then pray the firefighter doesn't hold you accountable for your actions.

  • i voted yes

  • thank you

  • State employees get payed more than those butchers at Giant Eagle. What an idiot.

  • Save the middle class -- vote no on Senate bill 5. And donate to the cause. Any amount will help.

  • I love you and your grandfather

  • State employees are not average citizens. This guy is a joke.

  • @rrhynes clearly you have no concept of how unions work and you got your education from fox news. Check the history books under labor and get a real education.

  • @ThePolarisdog Sorry. My father was union carpenter his entire life. I know plenty about it. The problem is, non-govt union employees do NOT get the same govt employees. Also, my father's expectation were much lower than the swine we have today. They have their fucking "collective" hands out at every turn and think anyone that owns a business, owes them a lifestyle.....for life. Fuck off Union turd. You're about to get flushed.

  • The bullshit tis guy is spouting is exactly what destroyed this country. Passing laws that benefit a minority of people ...paid for by the majority. Fuck unions. You're glory days are over with!

  • You're a fuckinh moron

  • Excuse me, I meant to say you're a fucking moron! Apparently you have no clue what the immigrant workers in this counry went through to obtain some sort of fair treatment. Take your ass and your company to India or China and we'll see if it brings in the revenue to support your lifestyle and how long you will be able to enjoy the same. We don't want you here and we can survive without your shit. I'm sure your Father came over and made a great wage and paid for your insidious ass.

  • @jwrobel0398 What the fuck doimmigrant rights have to do with embracing Union favoritism.

  • @rrhynes issue2.voted down.cry baby cry.

  • @mow1717 I'm not crying. I don't live in OHio. I could give a fuck less if those morons go broke. I'll be the one smiling when pension checks stop showing up in the mail.

  • Tim Ryan, it is a trill to hear you speak of issues that matter to the American people. Your words help everyone!

  • Tim Ryan is great, a rising star. And he's single. And he's a hunk. What's not to like? Run for President! HENRY.

  • Property tax extortion and income tax extortion must be eliminated. Unless that is accomplished, nothing else will matter. Congressmen do not have the testicles to eliminate extortion.

  • Gopkickbutt, they were called extending the bush tax cuts!

  • For those who know nothing about unions...... Dues are optional, pay them or work non-union. Nobody is forced to pay them. Dues are understood to finance politicians but in fact they are used to pay business agents, managers and office personnel to manage lawsuits, grievances, wages, pensions, job placements and unity. Get it straight. If you're clueless about the subject, perhaps you should keep quiet.

  • @ThePolarisdog In other words, bribery , extortion, etc.

  • yes.let us smash people trying to help.so think twice before helping.

  • What about really having respect for workers and stop forcing workers to pay union dues without a choice. Join union and pay 100% of union dues/ don't join the union and pay 85% of union dues. Not much choice here. Let payment be voluntary- not a forced payroll deduction. I ask Rep Ryan to

show some real respect to the worker and not to the union.

  • tHE MEAT cutters are on strike.

  • WOW.

  • AMEN RYAN!!!!!!!! YOU KEEP DOING THIS KASICH WILL REALIZE WHAT HE'S DONE TO TEACHERS AND SUCH AS MYSELF 4 YEARS AWAY FROM GRADUATING COLLEGE WHO WANTS TO BE A FUTURE TEACHER! GOD BLESS YOU RYAN! GOD BLESS!!!!

  • Thank You please call Govenor Chris Christie from New Jersey and have a talk with him.

    Retired Teacher

    Linda Guidone

    Marlton, NJ

  • Thank you, Congressman. It's nice to know some people still remember this country is built on labor. If the unions fall, big business will stand unopposed and we all lose. The rights of all workers continue to be fought for by the unions. Look for the union label. Help us fight for your rights, America. The corporations aren't going to give you anything unless they can profit from it.

    Thank you again.

    -Union Worker

  • @MDexter66 It wasn't made great byUNion labor though. Most of the truly great shit, that came in on time and budget, was built with non -union labor. Unions are masters of extortion that have stolen from the real working men for decades.

  • Excellent speech Rep. Ryan. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for looking out for the working person! A move many today would find unpopular. Honest politicians like yourself, who go against the tidal wave of the fickle crowd and stand up for what they believe in, are truly rare and I'm glad you are in Congress.

  • it's the unfair demands that unions brought debt on private sector.

Like the "rubber rooms" of teachers FOR YEARS that only was found out recently by the private sector..... who paid for "rubber room teachers" for years.

how fair ARE these unions. that's NOT fair that's NOT honest bargaining.

    Unions brought this upon themselves.

  • Thank you Congressman!

  • Did you know by definiton striking and unions WERE illegal? Sure were. I read that myself ...in Russian...when I studied in the former Soviet Union. I was so glad to get back home and then proudly serve our country. But...what is going on...now Kasich is making illegal here? Did this &%# serve? How many of us poor boys do the dirty work and they take in all the profits. I WAS making an honest modest living as a foreign language teacher..and now I'm being thrown out. Budget Cuts.

  • Thanks. But do republicans and most politicians in general hate public employees? From the way Herr Kasich talks you would think this personal, but I know some one or industry or something has their hand up his ass telling him what to do

  • Well said!

  • First start off with a personal anecdote that doesn't really hold any significance other than the fact that his old man loved unions. Then frame the issue to sound as sympathetic to "working men" as you can. He claims that SB5 is blaming public employees for the economic meltdown. What a straw man. Proponents of SB5 are not blaming public workers for the current crisis. What they are saying is that public workers shouldn't don't have a fundamental right to unionize, a position even held by FDR.

  • @Aspenridgekennels, join the club, there is a price to pay to be your own boss. You may not have a pension but you certainly will have social security.

  • This guy nailed it!! If I had to summarize what SB5 and everything else that goes with it comes down to, this would be it. Thank you for summarizing so well, Congressman Ryan!!

  • The Reps want the Unions will be broken, we will be like the 1800s . Read the Jungle by Jacob Riis to get an idea. Working 16 hour days 6 days a week for an unlivable wage, no OT, no workmen's comp. If injured you get fired. You take off because your kid sick, fired. The fat cats will rake it in on at our expense

  • I wish he was my congressman. We got a Tea Partier despite my best (and bunch of others efforts.

  • ...quoth Congressman Tim Ryan, as the Buddha laughs and Jesus weeps.

  • Great speech hopefully it doesn't fall on deaf ears....

  • There are good congressmen, who try to do what is best fro pepole.

They are not many but they exist.

Both US and Europe has enormous problems ahead.

But with guys like this and guys like Nigel Farange we just might have a chanse all of us.

  • Congressmen Ryan - I don't belong to a union, I'm middle class - but you don't stick up for me or anyone like me who just keeps paying more in taxes. I have to pay my own insurance 100%, I don't get a pension. I'm screwed why don't you speak for ME?

  • @AspenRidgeKennels he is speaking for you and every middle class person in the state. kasich and the rest of his cronies are not going to stop when they crush the union people . only when they destroy the middle class as a whole. once they strip wages and benifits from represented workers what will stop them from taking yours. do you think you can get thousands of other workers to come to your defence as a single individual. the unions are fighting for your rights now even if yournotaunionworker

  • @AspenRidgeKennels HE is speaking for you..and instead of asking why the union represented people get a pension and healthcare...start asking why YOU don't.. whether you are white collar or blue--if you WORK for someone else you need representation ...All the manufactures, business groups (ABC, Chamber of Commerce,ABA,AMA,all have organizations that fight for them..why can't we have organizations that fight for the worker....

  • God bless Tim Ryan. Finally someone in office speaks the truth.

  • wow im impressed. i left america for europe... i dont miss it at all....but its good to hear someone like Ryan...i hold onto a piece of hope. in the end the repugnicants will destroy america but at least this guy has the true american spirit despite it dying out. god bless him.

  • Who represents the taxpayer in public service collective bargaining negotiations?

    No one.

  • @davido53

No disrespect to you David, we all pay taxes, im in a Union, that im very proud of i might add, but without the wage that i recieve i wouldnt be able to pay the taxes levied on me, that wage is through a collective bargaining agreement.

Dont think i hav'nt been on the other side of the ropes, i was a non-union worker for 15 years, and treated like shit most of it, so we should stick up for these agreements, it directly affects us all.

  • Cheers for you Ryan... Sounds like there's some Irish you from your Grandpa!

  • Thank you, Congressman Ryan for recognizing that teachers are not the cause of this country's economic woes.

  • If you want more info like Wikileaks

    Search For

    "BUSH OBAMA DESTROYED US ARMY"

  • I stand in solidarity with the citizens of Ohio. Teabaggers it's not too late to come to your senses. We are not angry with you but with your so called "leaders" who only are doing the bidding of the Koch bros and other billionaires. The billionaires will NOT be there for you when they foreclose on your house because your medical bills need to be paid because you have no affordable health insurance. Fight for the American worker and we all win. Daughter of a union guy and wife of a union guy

  • Thank you so much for this video! I worry about this country's future. No one will want to be a teachers, police officer or fireman. You are so right Congressman Ryan! God Bless You!

  • So Congressman Ryan believes you don't cross a picket line, JUSTIFIABLE OR NOT. So Congressman Ryan believes the government has a RIGHT to steal our money when we die? Interesting man . . . several bricks short of a hod . . . but interesting. Repeat after me congress-jerk, THERE IS NO MONEY. THERE IS NO MONEY. IDIOT STRICKLAND LEFT OHIO EIGHT BILLION DOLLARS IN THE HOLE. Is that SO hard for a congress-jerk to understand?

  • Your point is what? Politicians are crooks? Thats not what this is about.... This is about the attack on working class people! COPS & firemen who protect us & save lives while risking there own!! These heros deserve fair wages, medical, & good retirements. At least this guy has the guts to get up there & speak the truth about these heros that protect us & teachers that educate our children! Your the idiot because if people let this happen dont think that your not next!!

  • Thank you for standing up and speaking the truth. When and how can we stop these Fat Cats from ruining the United States? We need to stand together and force these people out of office.

  • We know we have to compete with China and India. Lets just not become them.

  • Thank you so much Congressman! You truly are a patriot when there are so few left in politics these days.

  • All I can say is God bless you. Finally a voice of reason.

  • THis is all great, but nearly 15% of American owrkers are not working. I would guess that nearly all of them would give up their summers, without pay, to have a job. Shame on public servants for collecting big paychecks, and then hiding behind their union. When will they understand that if the people that pay them can not find work, then there is no money to pay them.

  • @telewheels This year we lost 57 teaching jobs in the district I work in. Teachers are feeling the pain just like the rest of the country. It is time to look at the rich to do their part. I give them created for making their pile of money off of the rest of us, but it is time to give to Cesar what is Cesars.

  • Bravo!!!!!

  • hey FSUBATMAN: thank your wife for me...i used to be a teacher....and you've pretty much summed it up....at least my teaching experience....thanks....and really, thank your wife for me.....for what she does

  • WOW! From the Heart! Would you like to be Governor of WI!?!

  • This dude for president 2012!

  • I have no respect for Union Members. You bastards fired a shotgun at my father in 1980 when, as a white collar worker, he went into the front office to pick up his pay check during a strike. Teachers..... quite playing that wounded innocent role......your union is the right arm of the DEM's political machine....you wanted to play politics....well you got it.

  • Comment removed

  • @Qbsneak555 Having no respect for all unions because of the horrid actions of one union worker is absolutely ridiculous. Union members have done many wonderful things for this country and no doubt you benefit from something a union has done like it or not.

  • Thank you congressman!

  • Amen Brother. Could it be....a DECENT politician!?!?!?.....PLEASE TELL ME THERE IS HELP OUT THERE...in the country of greed, and corruption!~

  • I don't think people really know what teachers do in schools. We do NOT sit in classrooms anymore in a stagnant state.

Teachers are more than babysitters of children.

It is frustrating listening to the absolute bashing of the teaching profession.

  • Prog, you have no idea what you are talking about. "insane wages"??? If you mean insanely low, maybe.

  • Since he's been in office, Gov. Walker has stated that his number 1 priority is to balance the budget.. He's managed to lie about public servants earning 30% of the state budget, when it's actuall less than 4%. He's managed to cut taxes for the corporations and wealthy who contribute to his party. And he's managed to take collective bargaining right's away from school teachers. Pathetic.

RECALL RECALL RECALL RECALL RECALL RECALL

  • I want to thank you for speaking on our behalf. Your words are truth and so appreciated!

  • If you have'nt walking in a teacher, police officer, fireman or any other civil servants shoes, perhaps it is not wise to comment on those people who do these unappreciated jobs. I am one, have contracted a disease, TB, from a "citizen" that will cause me great harm later in life, I will not be helped with through a horrible pension system and no retirement insurance. So to call civil servants greedy or lazy is just ignorant.P.S., you have noright to any of these services, Ask the Supreme Court

  • Teachers have it easy. Tell me what is more important than not only educating your child but handling all of his or her emotinal needs. When your child is having difficulty =call the teacher-when you look forhelp in planning for his/herfuture-call the teacher-when your child feels rejected, call the teacher-need a advoate for child when you can't attend a meeting -call a teacher its amazing you get all thes services for the one low price-don't hate us -value us as much as we value your child

  • @prog u act as if u understand ur just a punk who has no clue what it is like for teachers who must fight for their rights u probably work at mcdonalds so y would u care

  • The bill WILL pass, so all you whiners need to suck it up. Unions are out of control, private sector especially.Teachers are impossible to fire, even if they obviously suck at teaching, meanwhile they make insane wages and receive insane benefits. They also work roughly 185 days a year. State and federal government workers are in the same boat with wages, benefits, and workdays. A lot of people in the public sector need to come back down to earth, I should know, I work in it. Can't wait for SB5!

  • Unions have done a great deal for American workers. But to suggest that in order to compete we need unions is a total lie. The reason manufacturing has left this country IS the unions. It is such BS to claim that public sector workers need unions. Paid holidays galore, summers off for teachers, generous benefits. They have it made. In the real world if workers don't produce then wages stay the same and layoffs occur. Public schools are a failure. Bad teachers can't be fired. Kill the unions

  • @play36inaday

I'm sorry. but you are wrong.

    1. Most teachers work during the summer to get better at their profession. This includes rewriting curriculum that the State Boards of Education continually change.

  • @play36inaday

. 2. Public schools are not the failure. The parents are the ones to blame if their kids are coming into the schools with large gaps. Blame, Blame, Blame. Maybe if more parents understood that they are their child's first teacher. 3. Teachers CAN be fired. It is the adminstrators job to evaluate ineffective teachers and then take steps to help the teacher get better. If the teacher is unwilling to change or is not making the cut, further steps can be taken.

  • blah blah blah blah shove it up your ass tim ryan quit switching sides

  • This pretty much sums up senate bill 5

  • Henry: Will the republican/tea party/wall street reckless pseudo patriots listen?

  • Couldn't agree more

  • This is a great act. He's literally talking to about 3 people in the room.

  • @bucktoofus Three people in the room? You obviously didn't hear the applause at the end. Furthermore, he's talking to 127,863 on YouTube, and that's just the count over the last nine days.

  • Comment removed

  • Sir...thank you for "getting" it. You are a person of strong character and I thank you.

  • this video sucks balls im only watching because its my homework :P fml

  • @imthatTIMBER Why does it suck?

  • ryan has said what many people don't have the guts too!!!! if you actually listen to him he's right!!! open your eye's people!!! things need to change now in our country!!! we need more people like congressman ryan to stand up and speak on our behalf even if you don't belong to union you'd better pay attention!!!!

  • Here's rocket science 101! The rich would not be rich if it wasn't for the working class! So the workers need to stop doing certain things to put a crimp in the accounts of the rich!

  • I graduated my undergrad in 09, most future teachers in NY state graduate with a Bachelors owing more than they will make their first year, then they have to get a masters degree in less than 5 yrs. I don't know how I am going to do it since budget cuts have put teachers with decades of experience competing with me for the same job.

  • now, in your head, replace all instances of "inthe State of Ohio" with "in the United States of America", and you'll get the full message.

we don't compete in the global economy BECAUSE of our frakked up edjamakashun system, BECAUSE out teachers get continually shafted, BECAUSE the profession of teaching is so unattractive in the career market, BECAUSE teaching is looked down upon as what you do when you "can't do something useful". this brand of bull-drek needs to end.

  • I'm so sick of how disrespectful people are to each other. Can't people express themselves without being completely nasty?

  • Public unions=Government unions= TAX DOLLARS. I'm not asking teachers, firefighters or police to do anything. They are paid via TAX DOLLARS. They are public servants. I don't want to fund their better than average wages, benefits, pensions, and PUPPET politicians Mr. Ryan. I'm sorry we just can not afford it. I'm all for cutting SS, Medicare, Medicaid, and Militarism while we are at it. Mr. Ryan you are asking our children and our grandchildren to carry this burden. NO MORE!!!

  • He speaks with passion, but he also speaks with ignorance.

  • for ie. the media went on and on about how Gov Walker of Wisconsin was trying to bust the unions or get rid of collective bargaining. totally untrue. the only facet of collective bargaining the Gov wanted to repeal was the part that allows public unions to keep pushing pension benefits higher and higher each year. all other parts of collective bargaining were kept in tact. even FDR opposed public unions on principle.

  • i don't think anyone is blaming teachers or firefighters or police for our financial woes... he's talking about the unions as they used to be known. they've become corrupt, inflated, and membership is mandated for some professions -- then those dues go to fund the politicians that give them special deals and kickbacks.

the pensions are no longer reasonable or in line with the private sector average and cannot be maintained when states face fluctuating economic conditions.

  • @ 1:14 Ryan says, "The issue that we are talking about... is an issue of respect for the average worker in the United States of America" .

Somebody tell him please that the average worker in the United States of America doesn't belong to a union?

  • @cgktuber The average worker doesn't belong to a union...Right! Maybe we all should, if the people who belong to a union gets benefits, we should all join a union. Why would you want to take benefits away instead of fighting for benefit for all? I don't see the corporations sacrificing any of their profits. Why is this issue put squarely on the shoulders of the middle class?

  • @SOLINT Solint, I don't have to pay someone else to negotiate an "average" pay for me. And that's what unions do. The union worker who is the worst at his/her job gets paid exactly the same as someone who has the same job description but puts his/her <3 into it. so the union averages it out, and they both get paid the same. The bad worker gets more than they deserve and the good less than they deserve.

  • @SOLINT by the way, I don't belong to a union - AND I GET BENEFITS!!!

  • @cgktuber Congratulations. I don't belong to a union either, never have. I just think people should have a choice. By the way, what is to keep your company from telling you they won't pay for your benefits anymore? Have you thought about that?

  • @SOLINT Nothing. It's called the free market. In fact, I was laid off from one company after being with them for 15 years in '08. I finally got a job in my field with another company in '09, and then 6 months later got re-hired by the original company. Then that company went bankrupt and sold it's assets. I was then hired by a 3rd company, with whom I now work. + in each case, I negotiated my own salary and my own benefits, and if I didn't like it, I was FREE to find someone else to work for.

  • @cgktuber I am sorry you had to go through all of that. I am happy you are working, and content with your job. Not everyone is able to negotiate their salary, and benefits. BTW, I've done that too! Whether you belong to a union or not, you are FREE to do as you please. Belonging to a union doesn't tie you up for life, and the free market thrived even with the unions. I still think that unions give people a choice. Thanks for talking. I appreciate hearing a different point of view.

  • I like that I don't care (and don't know) what party this guy belongs to

  • @Hilamonsta if you don't know which party Ryan belongs to, then you're not really paying attention to the video, because the paste his name, his party and his state in a caption from ;30 into the video to :43

And as they say, if you don't understand the problem, then you aren't paying attention.

  • @cgktuber Clearly you missed the fucking point of my comment

  • @Hilamonsta clearly you're content to let union thugs tell you how to think & vote. Clearly, too, you're no teacher of the English language, nor of US history, for in either case you might have remembered George Washington's quote, “The foolish and wicked practice of profane cursing and swearing is a vice so mean and low that every person of sense and character detests and despises it”.

Or maybe you ARE a teacher, but a tenured one who feels they don't HAVE to remember that stuff?

  • @cgktuber -- When we criticise another person, it says nothing about that person; it merely says something about our own need to be critical. ~ Richard Carlson

  • @SOLINT "If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen" - Julia Childs - I think...

  • @cgktuber Thanks! The kitchen is fine, especially in the winter. LOLOL

  • @cgktuber something something something I hope you fall off you bike and get aids something period

  • @Hilamonsta Lord almighty, I hope you don't teach.

  • @cgktuber me either. upvote

  • @cgktuber

Cleeearrrllly you're not blah blah blah well surprise Tory, I'm George Washington and I curb stomp people for talking like stuck-up elitist turds. These words are now diamonds.

    I'm on a horse.

  • @Hilamonsta seems more likely you're UNDER the horse

  • @cgktuber I'm really into bestiality but tell your m.... no, I won't go there.

  • @Hilamonsta you're a teacher, right? No wonder we keep churning out immature undereducated kids...

  • @cgktuber yes Batman, you caught me. I teach fishing and trolling

  • @cgktuber (hint: it was that I don't care)

  • Thank God, a voice of reason. Well done Tim Ryan.

  • About time..Thank you!

  • Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! for being our voice! Incredible, you completely get it!!

  • How about the governors take a pay cut and a pension cut. How about their top aids also take a pay cut. In fact how about all representatives and senators take a pay cut and then increase the estate tax. huh? And then lets cut the defense budget (which is larger than all other countries put together) by oh say 25%. I think that would take care of any woes the governments are having. And then let's get back to federally funded education.

  • 39 people don't understand what its like to work in the public sector and should ask a teacher who works hard what their job is like and what they do for their students... and if that doesn't sway them then they should take their kids out of the public schools, not call the FD when their house is on fire, haul their own trash to the dump, and not call the police when they're in trouble...

  • Very logical statement...thanks for the post

  • Amen, Mr. Ryan. Thank you!! Especially the part about the pay increase for the top officials in Kasich's administration...ridiculous.

  • RIGHT THE FUCK ON!

  • Thank you Congressman Ryan!!!

  • Thank you , Mr. Ryan. Everything you said -- from the idea of shopping being an "art form"in Ohio to (especially) the need for respect for our country's workers -- was right on the money. Keep fighting the good fight!

  • What have the unions done for us? Hmm, allowed women to have maternity leave instead of being fired b/c they're pregnant, given the worker a lunch break, given the worker a living wage instead of the worker having to make their children work in the factory alongside them so the family can bring home $1 a day, made certain that fire fighters had proper equipment to keep them safe, made sure police officers were as protected as possible in their life-threatening line of work. Yup, unions are bad

  • @iteachdoyou, thanks for providing insight, knowledge and common sense. Keep your chin up because the far-right has an agenda and its TAX CUTS especially the RICH when they can afford. I support a flat tax rather then federal income tax. That would allow everyone to pay their fair share.

  • @iteachdoyou Thank you for stating the obvious! Although some people want to go back to pre-union times. That way we are all screwed!

  • I actually gave this video a standing ovation at the end and could not stop clapping.

  • Thank you Mr. Ryan

  • Finally, there's a politician who "gets" what's wrong the arguments of the tea party fanatics and their fellow travelers. I will bet that the Tea Party press (aka Fox News) will start attacking Ryan and target him for the 2012 elections.

  • @socialstudies7....thanks for the post. I think Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Hannity and folk are having a heat attack unless they are on drugs (remember Rush???)

  • @alohaokie I guess spelling doesn't count in social studies? What's a "heat attack"?

  • @cgktuber.....I suspect that you have two names on this list...your other name is socialstudies7. I think you knew exactly what I meat. Maybe my typing isn't as good as your but I doubt it. You attempt to insult me is a joke and only shows how betting you are and just trying is laughable. Come on, give me FACTS and statements from resources or research rather rants like this. I meant " HEART ATTACK."

  • @alohaokie....TO: @socialstudies and @cgktuber.....I suspect that you have two names on this list...your other name is socialstudies7. I think you knew exactly what I meat. • @alohaokie no, alahoakie, I have no idea what you "meat". Please tell me you are not an English teacher?

  • Thank you for defending professional public sector unions. Thank you for defending teachers. As a teacher I see the need for improvement. We are not competitive with the rest of the world. However, we won't get competitive by treating teachers like babysitters.

I challenge anyone who thinks that teaching is easy to get their teaching license and join us. Try it out for a few years before you judge how easy we have it.

  • thank you Mr Ryan :)

  • This guy gets it!

  • an eye opening video.

    Thank you Tim Ryan.

  • Wisconsin's South Central Federation of Labor Issues General Strike Warning The federation of 45,000 workers, went on record on Feb. 21, as opposing all provisions in Walker's bill,"and voted to endorse preparations for a general strike. While this is just a threat at this point, the decision is a tremendous step forward. Such a strike would take much effort and courage, but if shutting down the economy is what is needed to get the bill repealed, then that's what labor needs to do.

  • @VashCrowley Wow. This is just plain stupidity.
