  • So nice, I remember this movie from my childhood.

    Good memories :)

  • 4.47 reminds me of Eddy in Tekken xD

  • Who do you think Eddy Gordo teacher? Mark Dacascos was.

  • zoom zoom zoom

  • Mark is gorgeus<3 <3 <3!!!

  • When does he find time to practice his Capoeira with all the hours he puts in at Kitchen Stadium?

  • CAPOEIRA FROM BRAZIL!

  • muvi name? pls name!!!

  • @789kozel Only The Strong :D

  • @789kozel the name of this movie is ONLY THE STRONG very good movie.

  • Was Lateef Crowder somewhere in this film?

  • cuando labi memori d risa

  • @halo ugh! I know!!! Totally agree! Van Damme needs a piece too...

  • @Ihateluvstorystoo Fortunately for Jean-Claude Van Damme he became to famous action movies actor and get a lot of fans earlier than Marc Dacascos start a actor career. Otherwise for JCVD could be very difficult... I like both of them, but Marc is better. Good (but very underrated) actor, great fighter and gymnast who still is very good in his 47 years. My favourite actor.

  • mark shouldve been in the expendables

  • I've always felt annoyed at Mazda for basically stealing this song for they're stupid car advertisements. Zoom Zoom zoom....Tsss ! Pleeease ! : /

  • i love the guy with the ponytail who perform at the beggining at in th end of the video!hes really awesome!

  • I think this is the best movie of Marc Dacascos...

  • wao amazing....

  • a.q. taklacıları

  • Capoeira is very physically demanding, but it is more similar to dancing than it is a fighting style. It's not useless, but even comparatively moderate skill in another combat style will easily beat capoeira. Its greatest strength is the difficulty in tracking the fighting employing it.

  • love it

  • I've seen 'Only The Srong' a long time ago, does anyone know if there are anymore capoeira Movies ? or Movies that have Capoeira ?

    Thanks !

  • @PsychopathicKnees Hi man!! There's a great fight scene in the movie "The Protector" (of Ong Bak)

  • This looks so fun. Mark D. is a badass.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG

  • prosím jak se jmenuje ten film děkuji

  • es una buena pelicula !!

  • maestro de capoeira que buena peli

  • Poor Mark already got voted off. Sad X(

  • This movie displayed how incredibly talented Mark is. He was always sorely underappreciated as martial arts action star. Pound for pound, ability and skill wise, he was always at the top back in the day.

  • LOL. Big fan of his I see;) Even though I don't watch DWTS, I wish him all the best and yes, let's all vote for him! LOL.

  • Thanks! If you can do more than wishing there's barely 1hr40min to vote and Mark is going to be on Seacrest in 10 minutes! HELP! Go to abc and vote!

  • @brantastik You know you are sooooo right! My girl talks about Iron chef America and I always tell her, yo Mark is one heck of a fighter what the heck is he doing as a host as the show. That man's pure talents aren't being a host of some cook show. OH HELL NO!!!!

  • this looks like such a happy film

  • find and watch it's great

  • For those asking where to get the zoom zoom song, just search limewire for "capoeira" and it'll be one of the first results.

  • oh lol i saw the name of the movie at the ending :D

  • i realy want to know the name of the song at 2:04 can anyone tell me the name

  • gfdgt

  • your sick

  • whats the name of this second song ?

  • Dacascos went from Won Hop Kuen Do artistry, medieval martial artist phenom in ''Brotherhood of the Wolf'', to hosting a cooking show the last few years on IRON CHEF!! WHY???!! Has he lost love for the martial arts?

  • PECULIAR = back in the day this guy was all over the silverscreen, kickin' it OLD SCHOOL MARTIAL ARTS mastery!!!!! ....& now, he's the host of cable tv's Iron Chef. What Up With That!!!!!????

  • Mark Dacascos eres el mejor, buenos moimiewntos y además eres muy guapo. Rubí.

  • was dacascoes using a double for some of those capoeria moves?

  • Why would he need a double for something that he is a professional in doing? Look up his bio

  • Or look up raw unedited footage such as productions dailies (from The Crow) and other behind the scenes features to see the man at work!

  • paranaue!!! =D

    so great

  • great film

  • Hey, it's the Mazda song!

  • capoeira is my favourite sport !

  • paranaue, it's from Parana (a river in Brazil) with vocals added, like "oh mississippi"...

    great video, funny subtitles...

  • Lol! Dacascos play like a KungFu fighter!

  • yeah)) good old fairy-tale) how many people started to study capoeira after watching this movie)

    Thanks to Dakaskas))

  • What do the words mean in the song they are singing?

  • "Capoeira é jogo praticado na terra de São Salvador" = "Capoeira is a game praticied in the land of Sao Salvador"

"Chora menino, menino chorou" = "Cry boy, boy cryied"

"Quero ver bater, quero ver cair" = "I wanna see someone hit, I wanna see someone knocked out"

"Capoeira mata um" = "Capoeira kills someone"

"Paranauê" = I have no idea

  • I was told by a Brazilian capoeirista (sp*) that the 'Capoeira mata um' translates to 'Capoeira killed me' or 'Capoeira took my life'. He said its death from doing capoeira all the time, but it wasn't meant in a negative way.

  • ba na na wayyyyyyy

  • wow,good performance!!!
