The current Hu-Wen government is popular among Chinese. I think China should allow them to be in position beyond 2 terms. It avoids the repeated transitions of inexperienced new leader. It also avoids the abuse of power in the last term (see Taiwan). Historically, China benefits from long term intelligent emperors. To diffuse Western criticism, China can make this extension a direct election. The direct election for terms beyond 8 years is a great compromise between the East and the West.

It also avoids the abuse of power in the last term (see Taiwan). Historically, China benefits from long term intelligent emperors. To diffuse Western criticism, China can make this extension a direct election. The direct election for terms beyond 8 years is a great compromise between the East and the West.

我阅读了EMAIL里传来的，也谷狗了一下。那就是在网上华文世界广泛传播的译文（我将中英文都附录在后，大家可以比较）。也听了YUOTUBE的录像。不明白，为什么这个始作俑者要这样有意夸张，扇情？怎么能把"CNN commentator Jack Cafferty"译成CNN主持人呢？ Jack说了他指的是中国政府。怎么能就译成"侮辱华人过去50年来一直都是暴民和匪徒"？翻译分直译与意译。这肯定不是直译。意译怎么译那就可以争议了。我们华人在美国社会里的作用，声誉和地位，我们自己不清楚吗？我们也有那么多的美国媳妇，美国女婿。特别是那么多的美国女婿。就这么没有自信心？近年来，美国总统一到春节就要向华人祝词，盛赞华裔对美国社会的贡献。在美国的零售店里，几乎找不到不是中国造的东西。这个事实是最有力的，最雄辩的。中国人要自豪，足够可以自豪的了。这是最让Jack生气又无奈的。让他去嘟咙几句好了，怕什么。不管谁谁谁怎么说，这都是无法否认，无法改变的现实。怎么能就笼而统之地就译成：他说"中国制造的产品是垃圾"。中国外交部也接受这种译文。也不知是否这个译文原本就是来自他们的.

我又想了起关于赵薇为日报海军招魂的事件。当时，到底有多少人注意到了？如果那些无聊的中国人不说，我是不知道。我看了，还佩服这些无聊中国人的联想力。我估计也不会有多少日本人知道。这些国人还停留在文化大革命的水平上，就象当年的中学生专门在商业图案中寻找反动标语一样。这都是这么多年专制文化训练出来的恶习。

The reasons that reporters was kicked out of Tibet because China knows that Western media will purposely distorted the facts, and a great example is CNN and German media which used images that is not even in Tibet to distort facts.

First of all I read my stuff many time and I'm expressing how I feel, and I see nothing wrong. NZKOF here who is calling protesters names like "uneducated peasant," or calling other like "your incapable of reasoning," or "Narrow minded"...etc. These are all personal insults, and in return I gave piece of my mind. So what if I use harsh words, if you don't like it too bad. I care less what others think, because we are all different.
