as a painter i constantly have the same doubts.its not until time removes me from the actual experience of painting that i appreciate that painting.when you are the artist its always hard to look at the work with fresh eyes.looks like another great video.peace.
Ziggurini, I guess doubt is a necessary part, maybe like the mountain is necessary part of mountain climbing? Is that a stupid analogy? It certain makes the doubt more palatable!

Suziblutube, I know, I make him come watch it while I am editing, to get his thoughts on things. Once it's posted I have to beg him to go rate it. I don't think he has ever left a comment. But he puts up with my manic obessions so it all comes out in the wash.

cdeeryart - Thank you for the encouragement. Unfortunately, the practice of creativity does not seem to insure any type of reduction in negativity. I am shocked (once again!) to find negativity lurking around and taking over my thoughts. Since I am not going to let it stop me, I can only hope to harness it's dark power for quality control, though, it assures me I can never be good enough. Well, close with have to be good enough because art made is better than art unmade!
Oh how right you are! I really think that creativity makes me realize that there is even more negativity to be seen, to be met head on and tackled. Not a day goes by that I don't wrestle with the darkness. What drives me is the hope that thru the art, someone will see that they don't face the darkness alone. We all face it sooner or later, in some way, I think. Your braveness in putting out to hte world the way you do inspires me.
cdeeryart, this is so interesting for me. I love to participate in the creative process, and yet it is not without anxiety. I guess sharing that is just as good as advocating for manifestation.
This is the part of being an artist that non-artists find difficult to understand. Sometimes the process IS gruelling and takes up way too much time...I suppose it just comes with the territory! :) It is so very nice to be able to talk "shop" with others who understand, don't ya think?
cdeeryart, oh yes, I do enjoy talking "shop" with other artists. As much as l love the gifts of creativity, the surprises, I am still plagued with doubts. The whole process is so ridiculously time consuming, I want to do it even when I feel terrible about it. Maybe even more at that time because I don't want to stop until I have "fixed" the problem.
I completely understand! The payoff of sticking with a thing even when it's about to drive you to "The Nervous Hospital" is well worth it when you can get thru it...I suppose that's why keep doing what we do! :)
