Why nobody said that all the Dissidenten songs were never written by the germans but music & lyrics were completely by Cherif Lamrani, Chadili, Sousdi , Larsad & co...yes it's true and strange that you're always attacking only Baroudi & Kili and forgot that they the both singers have been the soul and the stage magic of this Band. Please stop these hidden lies and BASTA...from a Fanclub
Dissidenten with singers Cherif Lamrani and Chadili M'Barak of Lem Chaheb. The best Arab singers Dissidenten ever worked with. Like Dissidenten's Indian stuff as well, though.
Great music! Thanks for posting. This reminds me of my Montreal days at McGill. This used to play in the clubs and everybody would get up and dance. I played my cassette version of this ep until it broke.
Saw them at Hamburg Fabrik many years ago. With Kili and Baroudi. 70% of the audience was arab, the rest just adored this soulful music. It's been great
Kili & Baroudi voices were and are still incredible together.if you didn't see them on stage you cannot imagine how was the soul of the band. Finest Stage Force of the 2 arabs just hear them singing brothers. we miss you
this is the name of the album that dessidenten got(Sahara Elektrik / Life At The Pyramids) and that you know that in this edition are an Algerian couple, the songs are Lemchaheb and Larsad source, both Moroccan

The longest track i ever heard on John Peels music.
And it took another 20 years to hear it again, here.
