Whoa....everybody needs to chill out. This post and chosen title was for my own personal quick reference, and I do not claim to be an expert. Please get off your high horse and chill out. It's a beautiful area, and located near Panajechel where we spent the day. I'm not here trying to educate the world about the location, and although I am mormon...*gasp*, and a practicing mormon *gasp*, I was just trying to upload this little video to put on my blog from my trip. Geez!! Get a hobby!
"And now it came to pass that all this was done in Mormon, yea, by the waters of Mormon, in the forest that was near the waters of Mormon; yea, the place of Mormon, the waters of Mormon, the forest of Mormon, how beautiful are they to the eyes of them who there came to the knowledge of their Redeemer; yea, and how blessed are they, for they shall bsing to his praise forever. "
"How many bodies of water have forests near them? "
this is the ONLY body of water with a forest near it in ALL of central america and Mexico. Every where else is desert. That is why ANTImormons can rightfully complain about the lack of full BOM evidences. If it were a humid jungle with forests, things would decay rapidly. (unlike a dry desert)
I can guarantee that the name of this body of water is NOT Waters of Mormon.
Just because Desert Book sells you idiot members "Book of Mormon Lands" tours down to Guatemala, does not mean they have anything to prove their claims.

Nope, I am pretty sure it is. In fact they have a sign saying, Alma the elder baptised here. the have a sign noting the EXACT thicket that Alma hid in and the EXACT fountain that he drank out of. I am surprised the ANTImormon movement hasn't heard of it yet!
Ask Richard Packham if he will let you learn about it!

Rodney Meldrum disagrees with you. He is talking to sell out crowds about how the BoM occurred near NY and the great lakes region and he has proof!

"Rodney Meldrum disagrees with you"

but he has bigger issues!

Richard is a miserable old man trying to get back at Mormons for saying he can't ABUSE his first wife!

Sorry, try again. The geographic area of the Book of Mormon has NEVER been identified and probably NEVER will.
