I went to see rhcp last night in Dublin and Josh was amazing , he is unbelievably enthusiastic as he is a lifelong fan like the rest of us , John was shit on mothers milk (his first album) so give Josh a chance !

Once John brought his influence into the band their style changed and Anthony's song writing got better because of it. Plus I wouldn't say Josh was "shit" on I'm With You.
