@vfrpad You look like a real ass posting your same false information over and over on various videos, not only from your primary account, but also from the @MrThecorrector1 account. We all know that you are trying your best to bash the iPad just to help your own business.
91.21 prohibits wireless devices in aircraft! No pilots, 91.21 (b) does not give you the right to choose to use wireless devices in aircraft, it lets you choose and test non-wireless devices. So this is a dumb and and dangerous aircraft idea!!!!!!!!
Ipad can't be used as an aviation tool. Two reasons out of many, it doesn't have real GPS, you have to use an external bluetooth GPS, and that is prohibited in aircraft by the FAA. Second reason is, all the apps for it are internet dependent, you also can't us Wifi or 3-4G in an aircraft, it is also prohibited. No transmitting devices are allowed in aircraft, only a real GPS is, because it is a receiving device.
GPS chip is in the iPad with 3G model. As I told you before under the VFRPAD user name, turn off 3G and Wireless and the iPad will work in the cockpit.
Oh, so their airplane is rugged and meant for soft field operations! It's great to see a Cub that can finally fly out of a grass strip! What a stroke of briliance! I never would have thought about a Cub clone operating out of a soft field.
This is neat and all, but the video tells me nothing about why having an Ipad in it is good, nor why I should care. I felt frustrated at the end of this. It's too bad they didn't think before making this.
The video just shows the aircraft itself and its features. If you wan't to know more about the ipad, AVweb has videos on the ipad and its many features for pilots as well. It would be redundant for them to cover over the material twice. So no, the video is fine.

I strongly disagree. It is a poorly conceived and executed video. You're entitled to your opinion. Just like other things, everyone has one.

@anonymoususerindenve I'd have to agree, all the video really did was reiterate what the Cub's strengths are. At least in my opinion.

@anonymoususerindenve Just look at video reviews about the ipad's many aviation apps. Its simple.

@HDaviator You miss the point. A well-made video should answer those questions.
