ok thanks, obeidance is already down pat for us...and i have many of the freestyle moves down pat also...excpet the backwards weeve, any tips on that move? Also should i still be clicking and treating her if she already has the moves down? Id appreciate any helpful tips!!! thanks so much!

@GoldenGirl5588 Still not Emily...lol but I haven't taught my dog to backwards weave, that's great. I;m not sure if you are planning on competing, but most competitions do not allow treats. If you type in 'fading the lure dog training' in the search bar, you can find out how to fade out giving treats.

Hi I am a fellow clicker trainer on the East Coast of Canada and I am just getting into freestyle with my standard poodles. I love your work with your dogs - and I love this routine with Splash - I love the song, the beat and the fact it is edgier than most freestyle you see. I could watch it over and over and not get tired of it as you are both having so much fun. It is obvious you put a lot of time into your training and that you and your dogs work well together - well done - clicks to you!

@GoldenGirl5588 I'm not Emily, but I know she was training splash since she was a little puppy. On her channel kikopup she has baby Splash videos.

And good luck with your pup. You can start k9 freestyle anytime, but make sure to get basic obedience down pat before focusing on freestyle.

I love this routine.........would love to know how you taught the jump moves from a down and from a stand???? Splash was just so tuned into you, and you both really seemed to enjoy performing. I especially love how you incorporated moves that showed off both her intelligence and her athletic ability. Very well done! :)
