This is good stuff. I have a sector 9 aperture. I am by no means a skateboarder but I think longboarding is so awesome, cuz u get nice adrenaline and u can chill cruise carve and bomb hills and stuff. Never thought someone like me would love a board like I do. But anyway my question is what's the best board for someone who likes speed but likes to carve and bomb hills and stuff. I like fast but sliding too. I have swapped wheels and know bout that but need some advice on a great board I can

awesome guys! im about as good as you... i live in portland oregon, and here its really rainy half the year and there are a ton of steep hills, but i still get to board keep it up!

Yeah it's the same here... Winters are cold and dreary so don't get many chances to get on the boards

Fantastic camera if your in the market for a good consumer camera

A lot of people use them for Prosumer rigs

@whita89 awesome! i was thinking either the hv30, hv40, or hfs100 for a good longboard video! which do you think i should get?

@whita89 Well i love the HV30 but the HV40 is basically the same camera with some upgraded specs (ability to record into 24p) so if you have the extra money i would go for the 40.

Unfortunately i don't really know anything about the HFS100 so can't really help there

but it is pretty easy to find really good camera review and forums so just google it and see what you come up with

Couldn't really give you an accurate answer on that one man... i haven't ridden a derringer 28, maybe try that question in some sort of longboarding forum

but i prefer my kryptonics as they are much better carving wheels... they grip like nothing else

however if slide is what you want i would reccomend some orangatang in heats or the abec 11 gumballs ;)

ahh it was just over a week i think for it to arrive at the door

yeah it's a great board for carving and people seem to get some pretty nice tricks out of then

the trucks are amazing... but now that i have them i want a board with more normal trucks just for something different

and also unless you tighten those trucks right up... or get some more springs... you won't be bombing

but it's still a wicked ride

Yeah the carpark is pretty awesome. Skate it on Sunday afternoons and you should be pretty ok traffic-wise.

me and my mate have apex's and we did this docking bay not too long ago. he actually lives in ringwood - trippy.

umm nah not really Eastland is in Ringwood an Eastern Suburb about 20-30 kms from the city

for carving... the board performs exactly as it was designed to... beautifully

but if you want to bomb hills or go anything more than about 20kph your going to want to tighten the trucks right up
