Nice video. I live in Ukraine, some years ago we had our own Pokeleague with pins and all the official stuff. Too bad now we have no Pokemon cards in stores :( Bah, stupid iknow. So I enjoyed the video. It was fun and that "boooooo" for the Bronzon was just epic :)

I dont get why people say every box will have 2ex's.. the cards arent put into packs by humans they are machine operated totaly luck if you get an ex or not some boxes have no ex some boxes have 6 just luck of the draw im afraid.

@nav19891989 No, there is no luck involved in it. You will never find a box that has zero EXs or 6 EXs. Yes, the packs are packed by machines, but they are also very calculated, not random at all. Every single set has always had a ratio for ultra and secret rares.

Hey Renae, my pre-release is in three day's time, Sunday. I'm hoping for either a mewtwo EX or Reshiram EX and some DCE's and pokemon center. Here in Australia it costs us $40 for a pre-release, or slightly less than 6 packs.

@ZeoFlameByxis pre-releases are for anybody! even if you have not even gone to a league event you can still go! plus its a great way to get packs early before they come out!

how do you make a deck out of 6 packs like i know they give you the energys but how does it all work i am kinda interested in the pre releases but sadly mine as already passed :(

@choji147 You only have to make 40 card decks instead of 60. And they provide as many energies as you need. The mechanics of your deck will be a lot different than regular tournament decks. Most pre release decks are about 50% energy, and you'd never find regular decks like that. It makes it challenging and a lot of fun! :)

nice video, my pre release is next week and cant wait but its small so we only open two boxes so will probably not see a shiny and only 4 full arts :( but for everyone whos asking, the ratios have not changed since the last set so its: 2 full bodies, 9-11 holos including 2 ex's and its 1 shiny every 3-4 boxes and this takes the place of a holo/ex. hope this has helped people.

I've herd EXs are actualy extremely common. This is one of the only videos not to have one! However, the shiny was very rare!

@Zekrom6600 They aren't common at all. The number pulled depends on the size of the pre release. The more people at the pre release, the more boxes that are opened, and the more boxes that are opened the more EXs there will be. I personally went to a very small event, no more than 25 people combined. I've heard from people personally who have been at other pre releases and the ratio remains the same. 2, MAYBE 3, per box.

American packs are a real let down....I remember back in the 90's opening Japanese packs, you would get a holo in every pack. What was awesome was, the the Japanese fossil set has a holo mew.

just fyi, the side flaps are suppose to go inside the box and the bottom flap over it. I know, it's kind've ridiculous because the artwork rolls over the side flaps but that is how you put it together.

@kris198921 I know them quite well. And to respond to your other comment, no, the shiny cards do not take the place of an EX in a box. The ratio of EX pulls is somewhere around 2-3 per box, but the ratio of shiny pulls is somewhere around 1 per 2-3 boxes.
