i used to have an 84 camaro z28 it was fun when it had the stock 305 but i wanted

it faster so i got a zz4 350 out of a 1975 vette the i bored it .80 over port and polleshed the heads and a voodo cam

and holly race carb and a little nos it had 410hp at the flywheel without nos

after i got it in i got on the highway at 60 and hit the nos i was 16 and fucking

stupid enny way got it to 140mph i had a blow out i rolled it 10 times i was in a coma for 2 weeks

bout the same car a year ago for a 400$, took it out in the winter and blew up the v6, pulled it out replaced it with a a fully forged 350 stocked with all the goodies, put a ford 9 inch in the back and a t-5 trans and left the body stock and have just over 9grand into it and can drive it to the track and run mid 11's all day and then cruise home with the a/c on haha

dude i had a 93 pontiac sunbird v4, that sounded like that... because i had holes in the muffler. I now have a 87 camaro v6 i got for $250 beautiful alot better condition than this one. i plan on putting a 350 in it but idk the v6 is wonderful as is.

you need to watch out with v6 camaros. You'll have to replace the front coils in order to maintain the higher amount of weight

I've got almost the exact same car, a white '85 2.8L w/ t-tops but mine has different exhaust and door handles. and you paid a lot more then I did.  and when you get that timing or vacuum leak worked out you can do that sliding when it's dry

I have a 2.8 as well. mine goes through snow pretty damn good. mine sounds more aggressive but I'm jealous because yours is a manual. You raced it yet, mine will keep up with most V8'8 in the straights and will kill them in the curves. if it were a manual i could do so much better.

I'v swapped the mechanical carb but nothing fancy it came off another 2.8 s-10. I've gutted the cat and threw on a muffler that came off a 4th gen camaro ,k&N oil and airfilter and a nice set of monte carlo ss wheels.

I'm still looking for performance mods.

I would imagine the V6's have a higher gear ratio in the diff. Ive owned an 85 pontiac with a 305, and it was junk off the start. I think my car had something like 2.67 gears in the back. Id think a V6 would get gears more in the high 3's, maybe even into the 4's. Not sure though.
