The term baby is used by most people (myself included) to describe any and all stages of pregnancy but the medical term for a baby prior to birth is fetus. In fact any developing mammal past the embryo stage is called a fetus until the time of its birth. It is purely a scientific/medical term and I meant no offense. If you are looking for a fight about abortion you will have to go elsewhere.
