@PasVillalobos Este juego puede presentar problemas de audio, quizas se pueda solucionar si se le baja la aceleración a basica o emulada, esto lo puedes hacer en panel de control > dispositivo de sonido y audio, boton propiedades avanzadas en el cuadro configuracion de altavoz. En la nueva ventana, en la pestaña rendimiento > Aceleración de harware.
Este mismo truco puede servir para algunos juegos que presentan problemas de audio.
okay im having a problem here... i have it downloaded and installed i go to play it. my mounted image does the reading cd thing then after that it goes back to the regular mouse and nothing happens. ive tried compatibility setting yet still nothing happens
@jessicaburciagishot You need to use the crack that come in the CD 2, copy that .exe to the folder where the games is installed, this game can be played without CD.
Played in Win XP, I don't know if this game work in Vista or 7.
@jessicaburciagishot To get it working in Windows 7 you have to use the no-cd patch, even if you own the original disc. Just Google "Test Drive 2002 no cd". After you do that, go into the installation folder and delete the Movies folder. The movies will cause the game to crash at the loading screen. Then run the game as an administrator and it will run like a charm.
The PC version is actually inferior to the PS2 and Xbox versions. PC version has framerate and audio issues, as well as not being able to set analog control for the throttle and brakes.
@HashiriyaGDB You right, I was able to set the analog for throttle and brakes but only in the left Stick, the right is not recognized, not only for this, the cars don't have shadows in the ground and the reflection are in low framerate.
The good thing about the PC version is that you can put you own music in the game.
The only thing weird I find with your vid is that you're not getting the audio issues I had. Your car's engine is coming through loud and clear, wheras on my install my car's engine was being drowned out by everything else.
@HashiriyaGDB Yes, I had that problem with my sound card (Sound Blaster Live), but I use my integrated sound card AC'97 for the game.
You can solve this problem in the control panel, changing the audio performance to basic or emulated, with this change, the game can be heard better, in emulation can work better, but uses slightly more of the CPU.
In Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices icon.
On the Audio tab, Click the Advanced button > Click the Performance tab.
@ZlutyPanter I think there is one but this game is a little hard to find because the name, actually this is Test Drive 7 (Overdrive in consoles) but for PC is just Test Drive, If you look for test drive, you only will find about Test Drive unlimited or the other. If you like to try this or the other games, I uploaded all the Classic saga of TD, just search in google for Humbert21 test drive saga.
