John Shea has an impressive head of hair and exec producer/creator Deborah Joy Levine wanted John to keep his hair b/c she wanted this Lex to be a sexy suitor for Lois, as a rival for Clark.
He loses his hair once resurrected in season 2.
Great video... this was an awesome ending to a great first season.
