The instrumental is too strong to have lyrics sung to it.

With Love's Theme the relationship is complete and fulfilling.

Love's Theme soars on the string arrangement - the love has already projected the lovers into space. Words are not required here. Having each other's presence and the viewing the scenery together in silence is all that matters.

I have heard the vocal version and I don't think that was warranted either.

Some things are perfect as they are, they can't be improved on, only degraded.=, like adding go faster stripes and thingybobs to a Ferrari.

Their voices do not match the harmony of the strings.

That song is a classic. It should be left as it is. Love's Theme simply means it should be Love's Theme
