I loved these guys back in the 80s. THey were meant to play in a club in Glasgow, but the stage was too small and the gig was cancelled. I was so sad.

B時代は、あくまで「国内で」レベルが高いバンドでしたが、Ｖ時­代は「世界へ」を感じさせるバンドへと飛躍した気がします。当然­立役者は元基先生です。私は当時皆様と同じくラウドネス（アース­シェイカー等も）も大好きでしたが、このバンドは「別格」扱いし­てました。やっぱヴォーカリスト元基先生の存在感は圧倒的でした­。

このライブ生で渋公で見てました。何がスゴかったかって、 人見元基のボーカル。 外タレのライブも相当見てきた自分でも鳥肌が立ちました。 友人２人と見に行ったけど、その２人も圧倒されて体と顔が硬直し­てました。 日本のＲＯＣＫはこの頃がピークだったような気がします。 今の若い世代はこういった次元の違うサウンドに生で接する機会が­ないのがほんとうに気の毒というかかわいそうですね。 世界的に見てもこれだけクオリティの高いサウンドを構築したロッ­クバンドはあまりいないと思います。 自分的には８０年代前半のピンクフロイドやロニー在籍時のRai­nbow、神話大全の頃のRUSHくらいしか並ぶものが無いです­。 松本孝弘氏とユニットを組んでいるボーカルの方とよく比較されて­いますが発音、声量、技量どれをとっても比較にならないというか­次元が違い過ぎます。 元基さんにはほんとうに音楽の躍動感と感動をいただきました。 いい時代でした。ほんとに。

I had the pleasure of seeing Vow Wow live in concert on two occasions. Once in Glasgow Scotland (where I am from) in 1988, and once in Tokyo in 1995. I worked in Tokyo for six months at that time. I also have a live album of theirs (vinyl) recorded in (I think) 1986 (Vow Wow Live?) at the Budokan in Tokyo featuring songs like "Doncha Wanna Come", "Beat of Metal Motion", "Nightless City", Hurricane" and this song "Too Late To Turn Back". Great band.

Ohayo Aki-San. I checked the wiki for Vow Wow and you are right to say the band dissolved in 1990. However, in 1995 Kyoji Yamamoto and Toshihiro Niimi reunited as Bow Wow. It was this band I went to see live in Tokyo. If I remember correctly, they did not play any old songs and the singer sang in Japanese, not English.

Perhaps it was 1987 I saw them in Glasgow and not 1988. Neil Murray was playing on bass.
