@NickXLRG find the tempo of the sample with either counting the beats, finding a bpm analyzer program, ur using the tap tempo button in whichever DAW you are using, then make that your tempo in your project and create your drum pattern and you should be fine...

Ok jus open up edison put the song u want in it. Highlight the part u wanna sample then trim it and save it. Open slicex and load the saved part and jus chop it and u have ur sample

way better method for looping and doing breaks: drag the waveform from the sampler channel to the playlist

click top left corner of sample, go fit to tempo so it fits into the beat of your track

click top left corner again, go to chop >sharp auto slicing

fits into beat better. just play the track and when you feel like you got a good spot loop it in playlist, copy it, and ALT+drag it to the end of the original loop as often as you wish, and drag the rest of the sample to the end of your loops.

@elec177 I get all my samples off YT. Go to SNIPMP3 dot com. Their you'll paste the YT url of the song of your choice. Save your download in your FL, make a new folder, or use a current one. Or just upload it from your hard drive from Edison. Pretty simple. I'm sampling some "ROY AYERS".

Can I ask you one thing which always stuck when I do sampling?

When you have two separated pieces of samples and you want to use them both on your song, if the both samples are in different tempos how can u fix that?

For example, like "Verse part" and "Hook" should be used different parts of sample but tempo must be the same. But I dunno how to fix the tempo so that when it comes on hook the gap is made between sample and tempo. It sucks badly...im glad if u help me.
