  • 90% accuracy trading is now a reality. If you want to get rich invest in gold! Come visit my website, just google Gold Trading Academy to learn more.

  • God... Currently you're better off buying Platinum! ITS LESS THAN GOLD!!!!!!!?

  • @admx94 Not really, if you check platinum bullion, it's hardly in stock on most websites and has a higher premium just because it's platinum. But both platinum and gold are a good buy though.

  • Haha I bet you regret buying gold. Paper has so much more value! (joke)

  • hey shoild i buy gold coins or bars? i want to collect gold from now on.

  • Good job dude. I love all of the Australian Lunar Series 1 gold coins. The Goat is a personal favorite. I enjoy the Pig as well. That Dragon you spoke of is so awesome. They actually made many variants of these coins and if you have the ability I suggest you go for the gemstone series if you can. A ruby eyed dragon or a diamond eyed dragon. They are quite beautiful. The Series II 1 kilo silver gemstone versions are just as striking.

  • I like gold coins and silver coins but, gold cost more than $1400 and 2.5% more expinsive and silver coins cost more than $10 and 1.2%, 17.6%, and 12.1% more expinsive.

  • can i have one..............Just kidding

  • hi um only 11 and i love collecting gold coins to :) how many oz where all those gol cojns? and how much did you pay? (rough estimate)

  • thats cool!

  • i was told by a currency bullion exchange salesperson that gold coins are worth more than gold collector coins because the coins are much more pure... can anybody shed light on this?

  • @cirehj

two types of collectible coins, numismatic and bullion. Bullion is collected mostly for purity content 24 karat = pure gold. Numismatic coins have value due to the artistic picture, limited circulation, certain rare dates. Numismatic coins can also be made of pure gold or silver. Bullion generally goes for the going rate pf the precious metal minus small buyers premium. Numismatic value can go way over bullion value due to desirability and condition of coin.

  • soo much pretter than those paper bills that bought them

  • Wonderful collection Those are some beautiful coins. I still love the American Buffalo the best. I wonder why the Australian coins use the Chinese animal year references and have Chinese writing on them? Any ideas why? .

  • @BUILDINGWITHBULLION .The Perth Mint Makes Gold "Kangaroo s" and "Lunar "series coins.China is Australia s biggest trading partner so thats probably the reason why we make a Lunar coin.To export them to China for $1500 an Ounce.Regards from Oz.

  • @investornator Hey , thanks for that answer.

  • I bet you thought you were paying a lot when you got them at $300/oz huh.

  • Nice collection bro. I hope you still have it.

Collecting coins is "Hobby of the Kings".

Selling them is for loosers :)

  • @goofy932

I actually enjoy collecting the coins, them being made of precious metals is just a cool benefit, hopefully my kids will be more successful than I am and add to the collection for their kids. But I agree it is a "Hobby of the Kings" especially at these PM prices.

  • were in Toronto can i buy gold/silver coins or bars that are 100% real without scams?

  • @omedterry

    Try APMEX.com very reputable company.

  • @omedterry You can also go to local reputable coin shops in your area. Ebay has gobs of gold and silver dealers with positive feedback of 10,000+ as well.

  • Hey can i have a gold coin :) Ha ha just kidding

  • Hey I love your collection!! But can you tell me where did you get the bunny One once? Please Tell me :)

  • Oh ok sry i read an older comment that said something about counterfeit coins in china.

  • $1353.70 10/10/10

  • Was that gold Chinese panda really a fake coin?

  • @lazyboy465 China now produces more gold than any other country. Doesn't mean it's fake. Probably most of the fake gold (gold plated tungsten) is in the Bank of England and Fort Knox.

  • @lazyboy465 who ever said it was a fake? I only buy my coins through reputable dealers.

  • What is the best number karat gold?

  • @MrSelsto best for what?

24k is pure gold best for investment bullion

US eagles are 22k but they still have 1 ounce of gold, extra metal makes them harder, Indian Jewelry Gold is usually 22k, 18k usually Italian gold for jewelry, 14k gold typical jewelry. 10k cheap jewelry.

  • lol i found one huge one on the road

  • just bought a 1/10 Austrian Philharmonic I figured since I can't afford one ounce coins I would load up on the cheaper ones and wait for the prices to rise, better to have small amount of gold than no gold.

  • Man I would never buy china gold there are just to many fakes out there making it hard to resell to people.

  • thanks I just threw the panda out, your right. I only buy gold from reputable dealers, but the panda I bought off some street bum in china town, live and learn, but it had some tasty chocolate inside.

  • next time try to bend it a little to see if it's a coin or candy

  • dam I am a wise ass, sorry.

  • @bluediamond2077 Nothing wrong with buying Chinese gold or silver just as long as they are certified. I personally won't touch anything Chinese unless it's PCGS or NGC certified.

  • I have a weird feeling that gold is about to take off above 1500 soon.

  • Your worth a fortune!!LOL

  • Gold$981.90

    Updated:5/29/2009 4:15:02 PM CST

  • I paid 980 for my .9999 Canadian Maple Leaf two weeks ago. didn't expect to be a $1 over what I spent in just two weeks! That's great, but I want more, so now they're selling at 1022. at Apmex.

  • You got a great deal. I buy a lot of stuff from APMEX I literally just bought a one ounce silver kookaburra and a one ounce silver Koala. Expect gold to go way past 1000 an ounce soon.

  • i just wish I would have gotten into it sooner. I mean I have an old Double eagle and some fractionals. Guess all I can do is save. sigh.

  • i do agree with you but the way i lookat it is if you have the cash and the wits to aquire gold almost anytime is a good time to buy gold. its portable tangilble property. hold it, admire it and watch it grow in value. I bought a good portion of my gold when it was around 335 an ounce i wish i would have bought alot more then when i had the chance, who knew?

  • You think the rumors of $2500 by end 2010 could be true? It seems a bit steep, for such a short period. But I guess a lot can also happen in that time frame. Secondly,

Should I save and buy 1oz pieces, which would take me a month. Or should I buy 1/10 oz fractionals with the higher premium that I can easily get weekly. What would you do?

  • i think you usually get a better deal with the 1 ounce coins. I think the economy will only get bad before it gets worse. Sorry to say it but there seems to be a plan in place to make the dollar crash. check out Alex jone's video Endgame, very informative. keep up the great work.

  • I can't agree with you more whole heartily. We're own the same page. I am however a Christian (not sure where you stand on that) but to me it all lines up with what the Bible has proclaimed. A one world government. The dollar with crash. And the Amero will come into play. Then American union, African union, EU and soon to be Eastern Union will become one. Then crash. And the Anti-Christ will appear and "solve everything" Just my $.02 But either way, I agree, the dollar will be destroyed.

  • Seems like the Anti-Christ was just elected to the presidency.

  • It very much is a cult following. And if he's not. I sure am going to hate to see the real one.

  • right on brother! the race war will be first tho.

  • the big 4..US Gov, Vanderbilts, carnigies, Rothschilds. Look Up the FED, Jekyll Island. I would buy in Grams.

  • the gold markets a fickle mistress, although wouldn't rising prices of gold convince people to sell, then theres more on the market so prices fall??

not being an economist i havnt got a clue whether its true or not, any experts out there who can contribule their $0.02 on the matter??

  • China revealed on Friday that it had secretly raised its gold reserves by three-quarters since 2003, increasing its holdings to 1,054 tonnes - or a pot worth about US$30.9-billion - and confirming years of speculation it had been buying.

  • I see you collect more as bullion not charismatically. I left you a message if you're interested.

  • Cool, chk those Isle of man coins though there 22k :)

    Not that it matters, Gold=Gold

  • 24k

  • great collection, my favorite coins are the silver ones

  • Great collection! It's good to see someone with the same interests! Keep it up, my friend.

  • Awesome collections you have there.......thanks for posting....

  • here a some good points of each metal -Gold: most malleable and ductile metal in the world very promising for nanotechnology -Silver: many medicinal and cleansing purposes 2nd most conductive metal -Platinum: very useful in pollution controlling devices catalyst in chemical reactions, very durable metal -Palladium: many uses from its hydrogen absorbing capabilities used as plating in numerous electronics
  • it is from the Isle of Man a small island off the coast of Ireland ( English rule) where the manx cat originated from.

  • Cool video. Thanks for sharing.

  • here is a word of advice: Dont put a fucking sign of "vote for Ron Paul" outside your house. It tells robbers, come inside my house I have lots of gold!

  • If someone comes into my house and leaves alive they are very lucky. Ps my gold is in a safety deposit box in the bank.

  • 17x 9x19mm Parrabellum Bullets worth of not getting out alive;)

  • You might want to watch out on that one man. There are laws on the books that say in times of crisis or if the bank goes under they can confiscate any precious metals or firearms you have in a safety deposit box. Something to consider with all that's going on...

  • sw640 are you a coin collector? I went ahead and purchased some gold coins recently and had them put into 14K solid gold bezel pendants. I bought a 1923 Mexican 50 Pesos coin for $998and a 1980 1 oz Krugerrand for $898 in the past two months. Do you think I did bad by buying now?? I'm a collector ( numismatic fanatic ) for 21 years and counting. What about you? Do you feel that gold will subside or maintain a price median of spot price of at least $700 + an ounce. By the way nice coins!

  • Dude, keep buying bullion whenever the price dips down for a couple of days or more :) not right now, because it may drop again for a bit.. but the overall trend especially in USD is UP UP UP and a hell of a long way up at that.

All our currencies are being dragged down with the USD which is the bad bit. Have to see how that works out

Vid owner.. you should get your lunars graded at NGC. These are going for great prices especially if perfect.. and yours look good

  • Hope to get that 2009 ultra high relief coin soon.

  • "The design of the Ultra High Relief Double Eagle is a high-tech re-creation of Augustus Saint-Gaudens' original 1907 high relief $20 Liberty Double Eagle. Below is an excerpt from an official United States Mint press release that discusses the method they used in achieving the most exact duplicate of the original." Looks great to me.

  • You've got a nice collection there. It's awesome that you caught those at such low prices. Thanks for sharing the video.

  • it is just like a medalion i mean like something like a key or somethin'.

  • nice coins !

  • have you ever had any problems with scratching the american buffalo?

  • 24 Carat gold is very soft and prone to scratches but I keep them in airtight plastic holders to keep them protected.

  • Very nice coin collection! I just recently got into collecting cold coins. BTW what is your favorite place to buy gold from? So far I've only dealt with APMEX, who almost always has what you want in stock ready to be shipped, and if they don't it says so on the site. I got my first order 3 days after ordering online. Only downside their premiums aren't as good as some others.

  • Hello,

Have you been selling gold recently? Now it is easy to look back and say that it was optimal time to sell gold this spring when gold was 1000USD and now something like 700-750 USD.

  • My kids will be selling my Gold, platinum and silver and they are 3 and 4. PM is my hobby fun to collect and hopefully my kids will save them for their kids because they will be rich because of their incredible educations.

  • You are right that PM is fun to collect. I like that hobby too. Sometimes it is just time to short a little bit. ;)Now I guess gold is a little bit cheaper, if you just find a fair dealer.

I hope also that your kids will be rich. :)

  • I'm still a student, dun have kids yet, but wait till my kids or grand kids :D they'll be hopefully better off than i am as a student later in teh future ^^

  • How come market chart spot prices are about $788/oz but anywhere you go to buy like ebay or websites the prices are $800-900? I can't seem to find any place that sells gold for spot prices :/

  • that's the norm, dealers always have two prices , bid and ask. bid is what the dealer is willing to pay and ask is what they are offering to sell. it's a business and they always sell above spot to make a profit.

  • Because the COMEX is LYING

Because the truth is that the price of Gold is determined by what you are willing to pay for it, and what someone is willing to sell it for. There is no "price"

  • "Lock and Load" Nahhhhhhhhhh

sw640 is a "Glock and Gold" person;)

    WKD

  • I like it Glock and Gold, say's it all!!!

  • buy low sell high

  • Superb.

  • I just brought myself a Gold 1oz Maple Leaf Olympic 2010 coin today it cost me a total of 910 USD (that includs tax and all that jazz of fees) ~ i feel ripped off but at least i made my 1st move towards "The King of Metals" I can't wait to pick it up in the bank next wednesday! As of Silver, it's been SOLD OUT for the past 6 WEEKS!!!

  • wow sounds like you know what your doing keep it up. Try Northwestern Territorial Mint, they have great deals on sivler bullion.

  • I'm into the Purity of the metals, either 99.99% pure gold or silver. Otherwise they must be a rare collection like only limited amount are minted and that's it.

But yeah, i'm gonna look around some jewerly store for some Gold Bullions or coins.

But yeah i'll definitely check out northwest Ter for silver. Thanks for the Tip!

  • I Suggest you get one also (olympic gold maple leaf) If i'm not mistaken from the article i've read the Royal Canadian mint Agree on only minting it for 3 years 2008-2010 50,000 each year. So imagine the # of collectors out there striving to get their hands on it :D,

I'm already looking at a few other coins i wanna buy,

    The Vienna Philharmonic

    The Golden Bufflo

    The Suisse gold bar

and i CAN'T get my eyes off the 27 PANDAs From China :(

    Your right its so addictive

  • What will you do if gold and silver is made illegal again? The prices may disconnected with demand - my guess is the authorities will pay an artificially induced lower value in paper as 'compensation'.

Will you hand your stash over for a pittance - or risk confiscation, imprisonment, a fine and zero compensation?

  • what if obama gets in through acorn scams and dumb liberals and we lose our American freedom? Thanks for your positive comment zyby.

  • My post wasn't a 'comment' - I was looking for answers to my questions.

However I will make a comment - Obama no better than the rest of them - Democracy is dead thanks to the so called Patriot Acts.

  • IF gold and silver was made illegal, Come over boarder to CANADA!!! and Ditch AMERICA lol, but true say, precious metals will never be Zero in Value! if it was i'll take them for 1$/oz, I'll come to you for your convenience :P

  • Soon there won't be a border. It's going to get crazy real quick folks. Hang on to your hat.

  • Get ready for the Amero and the North American Union, the New World Order is coming, stock up on ammo.

  • Why do you say there won't be a border soon, and why do you think it's going to get real crazy?

  • look up the north American union, the nafta superhighway and the amero.

  • If you want an answer they will have to pull the gold from my cold dead left hand along with my gun in my right hand. Gold and precious metals will never be worth zero.

  • What if sw640 owns a shotgun and decides that he's not going to let the government take his coins or his family?

  • I just bought some one ounce platinum eagles. I could'nt resist Plat. was at 2252.00 an ounce in Feb 08, and it dropped below 1000.00

Take advantage and buy buy buy as much precious metals NOW while prices are low. I am having a hard time most places are out of stock on gold, silver and platinum.

  • I KNOW Silver has been OUT OF STOCK for the past 6 WEEKS :( i only have about 30 oz of Pure fine Silver coins, as of the collectables which date back before 1967s (canada) i got about 150oz but their not entirely silver their more like 92.5% silver with rest being other metals.

  • that Candian Maple Leaf has the most pure gold in it then any other coin made. that coin is bad ass

  • Where Did You By Your Coins Am 11 and ive got one princess Diana coin that i got as a present

  • Right! Physical gold is the way to go these days. I'm about to start a collection myself.

  • I bought most of my gold when it was around 350 to 600 an ounce. now I cant afford much gold but I by as much silver as possible. Gold is the currency of kings and silver the currency of the common people. I just picked up a 2007 britania and ten ounce bars.

  • Hi, I'm looking into collecting some Gold Coins like the ones you got there, but the 1oz gold coins is gonna cost me A LOT, As a student i've only got a good dozen and a half of the 1oz Pure Fine Silver coins, Do you recommend me geting 1/2 or 1/4 oz gold coins to start off my gold collection? or just jump to the pure 24k 1oz coins?

  • The rabbit coin so cute =)

  • Hi sw640. Can i ask - do you buy these purely as an investment? or is it partly as a fun collection? Just wondering! I have about 20oz myself - i originally purchased just for bullion value, but am finding myself increasingly interested in collecting different coins (stuck entirely to maples, eagles and krugerrands before)

  • I actually enjoy collecting coins and precious metals. I just happened to make a nice profit. I really like coins because they are pieces of art and history that can be held in your hands. I would get more gold but as you know gold is around 840 an ounce, I'm sticking to stocking up on silver little by little. Thanks for the great comment.

  • Someone else who actually knows what the meaning of true wealth is!!

    Kudo's my man! Keep buying!

  • Nice set! Gold actually did hit above 1000 USD an ounce, in March. But it's backed off since then. It's hard to know whether now is a good time to jump in to gold bullion investment. If u do, and are in the U.S., make sure u buy Eagles or Buffalo coins, as these are more highly desired at coin dealers' shops (they pay premium). Canadian Maple Leaves are good, too. But other bullion coins can be less desired by dealers. Before u purchase, make sure u know what types they r keen on buying!

  • Do you mind me asking where you buy your coins from. I see them on ebay often. Thanks.

  • The Queen is every where!!!!! RULE BRITANNIA!

    Nice vid

  • Very nice collection mate. Well done to you.

  • Nice video by the way

  • Well Done!!!!
