@tanxu Yeah Robert isn't used to the hooks that Xu can put on a ball, but for Xu to need to hook the ball means Roberts loops were pretty heavy with top spin. It's easier to put side spin with your loops to overpower your opponents spin. That's just something Robert hasn't quite gotten down yet.

i know which service you're talking about. please, look closely. it's his black forehand rubber which touches the ball with strong sidespin. watch the position of his arm and his hand, it's definitely the forehand, please feel free to check by yourself!

I think Xu Xin actually gave Gardos a point when it was 10-0 (2:56) in the 2nd because he felt sorry for him.

@olaniyi570 Actually, no. It is a sign of respect in the Pro Circuit to dump a point when you are up 10-0. It is extremely looked down upon when you skunk someone 11-0 unless they were serving and missed the 11th point. As ambassadors of TT this is something that everyone should understand because our sport isn't about who's more macho than the other it's an intellectual as well as incredibly athletic sport.
