i ve got q6600, 2gb ram, and this 8800GTS 512 overclocked by inno3d... and crysis with resolution 1280x800 works all very high, AAx8 ... only shadows on high because they slow down system the most... with contrast 10000:1 on my monitor it looks like movie ;]

I manage 35 FPS average with 2x ultra XT's a 4GHZ quad at 1920 with 4xaa. Same rig spits out 200 FPS in cod4 or HL2 etc. Above 30 FPS average in very high Dx10 vista is a very good PC. Just lol at the console idiots who's console generally max out at 35 fps at 1280 res in most games.

nah, ultra is better lighting which gives better shadows and such, why do you think crytek didn't use Ultra and toned it down to Very high, like i say, clearly the Quad core makes a hell of alot of difference between low and high framerate :D

8800 gtx its almost same as the 8800 gts 512 mb, yes a lil stronger, but only in higher resolutions. so i don't see the point of buying a 8800 gtx for a 17 inch monitor, my native resolution is 1360x768.we are talking about stock cards but when we talk about ocing its already another thing. as for the consumation the 8800 gts beats the gtx. as i said be4 gtx and gts 512 are the same with their good and pro;)
