no, theyre not good.

Hydras are such a niche unit that without drastic changes, they're doomed to be awful.

Ultras are average at best, but no where near as good as a T3 splash unit should be considering the other races. furthermore, pathing issues make them near impossible to use.

Wonky build my ass.... Protoss is so fucking pumped, they can do this shit ALL DAY LONG, and then if it FAILS, oh, forcefield the ramp a bajillion times until they have an entire other army built up.

Fucking stupid. Zerg needs love, seriously. FIX HYDRALISKS, they are so stupid, too fat, and too god damned slow.

And oh yay, Ultralisk build time down to 55, so now we can get the most useless tier 3 unit out even faster..... joy.

@staphinfection lemme put it this way: i changed from toss to zerg in diamond league (i know, i know, im not THAT high) and my zerg 1v1 games are 1/3 win/loss average. my toss was 4/1

@x0TehGameStation0x i switch from toss to zerg and my win lose ratio went up drasticly... altho i was a very high control toss high apm... toss has so much less that u can do with that apm zerg ius very apm friendly and a much better race if u have control... toss is the harder race because its less forgiving then zerg is if u are staying ontop of things... (altho zerg is not forgiving at ALL to huge mistakes like not being able to defend air ect ect...

SOOO strong. hydralisk also amazing and will never be patched because there already super strong used correctly for their cost... and ff ing continuesly requires so much gas that u can;t tec and get stuck on one base... ffing is a short term save that toss NEEDS or would be rushed everyday and lose every GAME! (coming from someone who now mains zerg and use to main toss)

bad reaction from Z. Should have dropped a spore or two as soon as he saw two voidrays. Also there was a lot of delay between the time he lost the evo chamber and the time he dropped the replacement. He definitely did not deserve to win.

@TheBlackiwid he definitely didn't have enough resources for hydras. his building placement definitely wasn't the best for a voidray rush, but it was to help block units in a 4gate attack. the zerg didn't scout the 4gate, but had an ovy at the expansion, so knowing there was no expansion, he assumed a 4gate. spine crwalers are an amazing idea. they are time-buyers, but time-buyers are game winners when your opponent is all in. he also built more queens, they just have a build time on them.

because of the fast tier2 the hydras would be the idealest unit choice but maybe he had not gas? But ok if you just see a big force coming to your front which you not seen coming I would miss that too. But thinking that you can stopp 2 easy charged on void rays with a big armee support with just queens with no transfusion energie and 2 queens is stupid did he even build more queens or did he thought the void rays just vanish if the he could maybe stop the ground force.

what a bad zerg (I want not insult you), but why in hell trying to rebuild the forge if you have tier2, just build a fuckin hydra den, it would be good unit against all that units, or if he really wanted to use spore crawlers build them before the forge goes down or dont rebuild it in the near of the void rays just build it in the main base. And I dont agree that roaches would help much, they would have to run away from the zealots and void rays and get outrun/reached by the stalkers.

A quick google search could have easily answered this question for you.

Anyways, creep gives a boost in speed for all Zerg units, which means in a ZvZ both teams can use each others creep to the others advantage. Also, creep gives the player who placed the tumor vision of the area where the creep is.

@georgiewickham 1/2: Yeah but the problem is that its too easy to take zerg off guard, one mistake can cost you the game as a zerg, but as a protoss or terran you can afford to do several mistakes. In order to make hydras and corrupters we need to first get 100 gas for lair (most zergs use their 100 gas on speed first, and the rest of the gas on roach warren and roaches). The lair takes minutes to complete, and then you have to spend another few hundreds gas on either hydralisk den or spire. 1/2

@georgiewickham 2/2: The spire takes forever to complete, and using that much minerals and gas on corrupters that early in the game is a huge waste. When it comes to hydralisks its one of the worst units in the game, low hp, no special ability, is expensive as hell and also the slowest unit in the game. Hydralisks are glasscannons, do good dps but dies like flies. In other words, zerg anti air is really bad in sc2. Both terran and protoss get anti air standard unit early in the game. 2/2.
