I'm not too sure about Meshuggah but Darkane is very good nowadays. You should check out their video "Darkane - studio report pt 4: Recording the rhythm guitars " and see some of the guitar playing. Or why not the drumming recording with Peter Wildoer, one of the WORLDS BEST DRUMMERS. But yeah, I suppose they suck because they sing about dimensions, demons etc and not pussy cats.
