Very good question! And although this is clearly a good helicopter I can't see how it can be described as the best when the Apache D (Longbow) flies faster, higher, climbs quicker and goes further! Max load weight is similar though. There's a reason the Longbow costs $12 Million more than the most expensive Tiger varient! And no, I'm not claiming that the Apache is the best in the world either but it appears, on paper at least, to have the edge over the Tiger.

You compare the look of the helicopters, the Apache may look more beastly but the Tiger is much more modern, the Apache is from the 70s, the Tiger from the 90s, just compare the electronics or the engines. By the way: both helicopters are developt for different roles.

This chopper will out maneuver the stock Apache and Apache longbow. it is also far quicker than the Apache. It is one of the best choppers ever created. The one thing the Apache will have though is its supperior fire power and also its ability to take a hit. In a 1 v 1 fight its near impossible to judge.

Reimbursement for providing US & Nato troops a land route for delivery of military equipment such as guns, ammo, missiles, helo rockets, food, clothing, and other essentials that are required to sustain your 8 year long war in Afghanistan. Must of those services are provided via Pakistani territory and via Pakistani companies and vehicles.

Not corrupt government just insecure stocks and mortgages. WMDs in Iraq were because they launched Scud ICBMs used to launch Nuclear warheads into US Army bases in Saudi Arabia and Israel. Then Saddam said if they kept the offensive he'll use Biological weapons which are WMDs. After the cease fire UN inspectors were not allowed to enter Iraq giving a big suspicion that they're rebuilding or researching. Which led to today and Saddam confessing he was lying. He brought it on himself.

Well Bush really wanted that oil. I think it's a waste it was ok in the begging but all that money wasted they could have sent spys. NATO can't attack a country without a reason Iraq was WMD and Afghanistan was if a NATO member is attacked(9/11) other members must help. Bush used both to get support in these wars. Iraq really isn't third world but it's not rich either.

british apache is probably the best, it has more powerfull engines, better avionics and other upgrades like folding rotors so it can be on an aircraft carrier, it is designed as a cas atack helo

Just how many "Best attack helicopters in the world" are there? Everyone on YouTube likes to say the ....... is the best one. Is there a credible source that can state this? Please don't tell me to go look on wikipedia. Probably there is little difference between the top 5 or 6, just the level training and support, and of course the motivation. Did the Amis finally give up on their newest best helicopter, the Comanche I believe it is called? Danke

Very good question! And although this is clearly a good helicopter I can't see how it can be described as the best when the Apache D (Longbow) flies faster, higher, climbs quicker and goes further! Max load weight is similar though. There's a reason the Longbow costs $12 Million more than the most expensive Tiger varient! And no, I'm not claiming that the Apache is the best in the world either but it appears, on paper at least, to have the edge over the Tiger.

Much of the time, it's a matter of opinion. The Tiger can outfly the Apache, but the Apache can outgun the Tiger (given some situations).

For information the Tiger is equipped with 30mm gun, mistral, stinger for A2A and Hot3, Hellfire, Spike, 70mm and 68mm rockets for A2G... moreover the Tiger isn't a Comanche and hasn't been designed to be full stealth against radar, you should check your source.

You compare the look of the helicopters, the Apache may look more beastly but the Tiger is much more modern, the Apache is from the 70s, the Tiger from the 90s, just compare the electronics or the engines. By the way: both helicopters are developt for different roles.

America did pioneer the first attack helicopter. All you're trying to do is make it look like it was Europeans, when it wasn't. Bell Helicopters made the first attack helicopter in the world. And it's an American company.

This chopper will out maneuver the stock Apache and Apache longbow. it is also far quicker than the Apache. It is one of the best choppers ever created. The one thing the Apache will have though is its supperior fire power and also its ability to take a hit. In a 1 v 1 fight its near impossible to judge.
Both great helicopters and both are a master peice!
