Signing Ron Artest was a huge move for L.A. This organization basically said to Trevor either you sign with us or you leave to another team and we replace you. Only move that can be compared to artest joining the lakers is richard jefferson joining the spurs. Rasheed is going to be 35 before the season starts and he averaged like 6ppg in playoffs and like 12 in the season, not only does bynum destroy that while he's healthy but even perkins has better stats so thats rly no upgrade. What I worry about is shot selection and overall chemistry. He's been known as a loose cannon...

wrong, odom is STILL a FREE AGENT! and Mavericks is only offering Odom 5.4million than the Lakers 9 million.. whcih means, he will recieve less money IF he signs with the Mavericks. Signing Ron Artest was a huge move for L.A. This organization basically said to Trevor either you sign with us or you leave to another team and we replace you. I have to admit Trevor was amazing this postseason in helping this team win it all. In the end he could have been a part of something special but instead he chose to leave. Good luck T.A. Only move that can be compared to artest joining the lakers is richard jefferson joining the spurs. Rasheed is going to be 35 before the season starts and he averaged like 6ppg in playoffs and like 12 in the season, not only does bynum destroy that while he's healthy but even perkins has better stats so thats rly no upgrade. Shaqs old and slow and pretty useless with ilgauskas. Lakers are definitely keeping that title with Ron in town theres not one team that can beat them in a best of 7 series.

I don't think we need to worry about that Lamar has be in talks with Kobe and Mitch so he is willing to wait and his contract is being worked on right now. He clearly wants to stay in LA and everyone wants him back so I am pretty sure he will stay. If we cant keep him then I don't really see anyone available right now that can replace him. Artest however has really been an upgrade over aritza, I loved aritza but artest is a better scorer,defender, and clutch player. So I think thats a good move.
