It was shot on the alley between Boundary Road and City way. There's a couple of tricky bends in that alley.... and if you watch carefully pete is directing the cameraman direction by touching his face!

I adore this song - Louise is a lucky girl whoever she is! I only recently heard of Pete Molanari after I went to a gig in Leicester. Daryl Kirkland & Katie Shields were playing & they covered Sweet Louise in their set - can see their version on YouTube too - it's fab! I know his brother Gino although I've not seen him for years. Last I heard of Pete was when he had successfully auditioned for a roll in some American show like The Monkies or something. Yeah, mate, this Pete character, definitely radiates a little bit of magic. He is not disimilar to say The Stands, except he can write a whole albums worth of material but even more crucial, he has the spark! Hopefully he comes to Glasvegas soon.

Here here. I've got him on just now, Molinari. There's an interview online in which he sums up the point you were making. He mentions the inevitability of the similarities when there are only so many chords etc. He made a good point, and Richard Hawley also echoed this, that basically its all in the phrasing, the interpretation etc. In short, having soul; something which the fluckin Pigeon Detectives et al lack altogether.
