My opinion is that AFA and NAD should work together so that way the governments will know more about AFA since NAD is well-known in those areas. It would be nice if they will fight together for our deaf rights such as captions/subtitles on ALL internet video clips (ex: CNN.com), streaming video (ex: Netflix) into PC or TV and so on. In other words, the media is not really mandatory. Just making proposals to the governments to add/change a law is all they need to do. That's my dream.
@BigBenFactor I remember Ridor9th saying the goal of AFA is to educate hearing people about audism. Ridor9th's vlogs at YouTube and DeafCube are for deaf people to watch and hearing people won't understand what he says in signing (no captions), therefore his video clips are not actually a media to spread around in the hearing world.
I understand your point about making media to inform hearing people about AFA. You have another good point about Ridor9th's knowledge of media area. I guess he has not done it because he probably doesn't have equipments to do it and maybe AFA can't afford it either. So wait and see what he will say about why he does not help making media for AFA since he's involved in it. Good argument, man.
