  • Okay even as an Aggie, I'll admit I don't like this practice. However, I believe our beloved Aggies have done it, and no it's not shameful! Until the NCAA or NFL, or even High School makes a rule against it, coaches will teach it. It's a way to help your team win and it's not illegal! The player who stopped play has to come out of the game for a play. That's really the only thing I could see anyone doing about it. As long as teams run fast paced, no huddle offenses, defenses will use this stra

  • Stupid niggers

  • Just like LSU did to WVU.

  • Lol, I guess this is where the aggies picked it up! And this goes back to last year against Oklahoma and Baylor. Shame on you ags.

  • This is funny coming from the aggs this year. Oklahoma state and the red raiders. So many fake cramps it was really bad.

  • funny that you aggroids are probably not quite as outraged at the aggy defense doing the exact same thing in the choke job to okie lite...

  • WTF !!!

  • Maybe they can be called up to play for the New York Giants.

  • @kray122 and? What's your point? Doesn't mean that Von miller wasn't laying on the field every 3 plays when OU's offense wan on the field in the fourth quarter. It's called a hurry up offense. Bot sit and wait on Von miller offense. Besides, what did that win get y'all? A real big 12 championship ring? No. A bcs bowl berth? No. A beating from an sec team that you supposedly are dying to join? Yes. Enjoy getting stomped in Norman this year. I know I will be there.

  • Lol this looks like Von miller when the OU offense was on the field. Hahaha stop crying you bunch of fags.

  • @OUdidntknow84 - That is funny considering we beat OU last season.

  • Lol yea I heard 2 gunshots and right after they went down

  • I heard two gun shots also

  • hey is it just me or at 8 seconds I heard two gunshots and both football players went down. I dont think that was a fake injury everyone listen closely

  • @naypom10 How does that make him a loser for posting this, I'd rather be in a school that has a lot of people than a school that plays dirty and fakes injuries like idiots

  • @darknight13 They don't play dirty you fucking dumb-fuck… If your ass was on the field, you'd be in a fucking coma.. shut your ignorant ass up.

  • @tatumsh9

    2 things.

    1. Why did you respond to a 6 month old post? You actually go on videos, and read through all the comments to find someone to argue with on the internet...really?

    2. Looks like you don't like the fucking truth LOL. Sequential cramps my ass, they're just pissed they got outplayed. And with the sounds of it by you defending them, you were either on that team who faked the cramp and got pissed you were caught or your just a nerd arguing voer the internet to 6 month old posts

  • Whoever posted this is a dick!

  • @tromboneman84 Oh, thats who you are?

  • @tromboneman84

    how?

  • @tromboneman84 Don't like the truth coming out mother fucker?

  • they are the first to become zombies 2012! its comming!

  • Ummm excuse me! # 23 actually has to have surgery! I dont know about the other player tho. Any who know all the information before making your own assumptions. God bless.

  • I can see how they feel, i have to go for a lie down when i run for more than 10 seconds too

  • lol so gay

  • dude shut the fuck up. Sfa does play with class and doesn't fake nothin. and course we knew we were gonna be beat. it didn't matter. u school paid us $400,000 to play ya'll so who really lost?

  • Everyone cheats

  • havent been paying attention how are those aggies doing now that theyre playing teams their size? oh wait....

  • @sdhawkins

    6-3, Ranked # 23.

So, not bad at all, especially after crushing down on OU

  • @sdhawkins Pretty good, I'd say.

  • @sdhawkins lol! ooouch

  • This whole thing is ridiculous. Posting it is ridiculous. Texas A&M playing a Division I-AA school is ridiculous. Aggie football pretending to have a defense is ridiculous. SO you beat a school with what, 20% 0f your school population in a lower division? BFD. Beat a school your size who has a great football team, THEN come post something.

  • watch #7, terrance fredrick....right after they fall he looks at 'em with his arms raised, like, "wtf? y'all aint hurt." *turns to sfa sideline "hey coach. that's bullcrap!"

  • why do people have to comment on scheduels, atleast we gonna play a ranked team in non confrence play, and we werent suppose to play SFA we were actually suppose to play florida state, but FSU had to pull out and we graved SFA so it was ment to be a better looking couple of games then it ended up and once again atleast we are playing a ranked team in non confrence unlike tu little pathetic victories over Rice, and Wyoming and a loss to a very crappy UCLA team and then oh wow FAU, thats pathetic

  • @pmk422 ill give you ya props forgot about Vonn Miller, yeah hes a monster...and i'll believe that A&M's defense has improved when they prove it against a quality team...not a FCS team, not a LA Tech team that beat Grambling by 4 points, and FIU..if A&M can pull out at least 2 or 3 wins in the next 5 weeks then i'll believe that A&M has actually gotten better

  • Seriously, I have to agree with what a lot of people are saying in the comments here. People don't seem to remember that A&M beat TU pretty easily twice in a row, WHILE McCoy was at QB. Just listen to the NCAA commentators; The Aggies rarely get the respect they deserve, and that's why they so often surprise and upset opponents like TU or Oklahoma.

    Gig'em!

  • @bbaggie76 why don't you go back a year ago and put up some highlights from that K-State game...you know a continuous clip of them running up and down the field on ya

  • I really feel sorry for A&M when they get into Big 12 play since every other team in the Big 12 has made strides to get better EXCEPT for A&M...I'm almost certain that Colorado and Kansas are probably more talented than the Aggies...other than Jerrod Johnson you guys have nothing...so why dont you guys stay quiet and beat someone other than teams no one has ever heard of like Florida International

  • @sdhawkins So you are saying that the defense hasn't improved at all? This is probably the best the defense has played early in the year in about 5+ years. You also forgot Von Miller is talented. At least know about what you try to make fun of. If you don't people will realize you are just another ignorant fuck.

  • Honestly why has this become a big deal? Do the Aggies really have nothing better to do with their time than crap like this? You won the game..cool..It only took you guys more than 1/2 of the game when conditioning caught up to SFA, not an excuse..just truth..and nethery2010 apparently schools SFA size is what you need to play considering the victory that FIU (LMAO) was nice enough to give you...

  • Lumberjacks are makin the excuse of not havin a team as deep as A&M. That is certainly true. But its football, come ready to play any team that is on your schedule. Dont complain about how many more players they have, or how many more scholarship players they have, and dont fake injury just to prolong the inevitable. Maybe that will teach yall not to come back to CS and stay in nachanowhere and play some teams that nobody has ever heard of. Like Northern Iowa...thanks and Gig 'em!

  • @nethery2010 Northern Iowa was actually ranked in the FCS...

  • A&M finally has people on their schedule they can beat - LOL

  • thats y i go to sam houston SORRY ASS PUSSYS... we'd take our ass whoopin like real men!!!! damn yall suck wtf... what a slut im lookin down yall lookin up!!!!! yall betta not try that shit on us!!! we gon dig in yall shit!!!! nuff said

  • I honestly do not understand why everyone is so upset about this. People don't think about the fact that the numbers of players on each sideline is hugly differentiated. SFA has 68 scholarships playing while a&m has around 120. The players get tired and the depth of the SFA defensive line is nothing compared to the aggies. The fact is: a&m beat SFA in the end. What does it matter if this injury was fake or not? Had SFA won then it would be an entirely different story.

  • bbaggie76 - let's review

Your cheerleader telling the crowd that Joe Paterno is old and get a casket for him (bowl game)

Texas A&M University's Parsons Mounted Cavalry was charged with throwing horse feces onto members of the University of Texas band before the A&M-UT football game(2005 I believe)

And lets not forget about pulling the sword on the SMU cheerleader for walking on the "sacred crab grass".

I guess you can point the finger at others since you know about classless

  • SFA fu(kN suck ... i mean really yall coach should have just threw N the towl

  • Alright bbaggie, like I said on a previous comment, you guys won the game. So leave it alone. Why would it matter to you anyway? It's not like were going to be facing you guys in the Big 12. You guys have got bigger fish to worry about like how you're gonna keep UT from putting a whooping on your butts again!

  • @danielj316 Funny how people like you conveniently erase the recent memories of A&M "whooping" up on t.u. Think about the year before last :) Gig'em!

  • lol that was some intense running that guy did considering he had a Cramp

    FAKER!!

  • What is this? Soccer?

  • hahahahah stupid aggy

  • Comment removed

  • Come on guys! You know that these cramps were real! Granted they were most likely menstrual, but real none the less!

  • Comments on what Cotton79 wrote to SFA Presdent:

Best line in the post "I care about Texas, and I care about the game of football, which our state has so richly engaged for decades."

I agree 100% and I'm glad that it was brought up to Dr. Patillo at Stephen F. Austin because this type of play, if indeed it was faked to stall the Texas A&M offense is not a representation of football sportsmanship I want to see in the state of Texas; moreover, in sports period!

  • @bbaggie76 Did i miss something or did A&M do this exact same thing this past weekend? Instead of being high and mighty and telling SFA coaching they should be ashamed, your coaching staff borrows the strategic "fake injury" playbook. Enjoy the SEC.

  • Continue'd post from Cotton79 to SFA President

Agree with me or not, it just seemed unfair that all this dialog was transpiring in the undercurrent, and I kept thinking that if I were President of SFA I'd damn sure want to know about. So, I did it. I hope Dr. Pattillo speaks to the coach and the football team about it, but that ball is now in his court. At least he knows.

  • Continue'd post from Cotton79 to SFA President

I am not seeking any feedback or recourse, other than to bring it your attention for consideration.

Thank you for listening to me. Good luck to the Lumberjacks this season, and may you perform even better than last year's run in the playoffs.

    Sincerely,

    (Cotton79)

  • Continue'd post from Cotton79 to SFA President

I participate in a couple of online Aggie bulletin boards and blogs, and have participated in some of the discussion about this play and the lack of class displayed by the offending SFA players.

I finally thought it unfair to hold such a discussion (and ranting at times) without bringing it to your attention as President of SFA. I care about Texas, and I care about the game of football, which our state has so richly engaged for decades.

  • Continue'd post from Cotton79 to SFA President

Probably more than either of us really knows. Yet, in this age of cyber fast video and youtube and such, even the smallest of things is now captured for posterity to view and applaud... or demonize. My biggest concern is that the video will go viral - as wacky things like this often do - and find itself on some national sports talk show, which will cast a negative light on our great state and your fine university.

  • Continue'd post from Cotton79

it was actually coached from the sideline. If you haven't seen it, here it is on youtube:

I am an Aggie and proud of it. I am also proud to share the same Texan heritage as you. I am embarrassed to watch this, and I have a hunch that you are/will be too when you see it. I am not naive enough to think that this type of on-the-field behavior has not happened before; in fact, I am quite sure it has.

  • Continue from Cotton79

During the football game between SFA and Texas A&M University this past weekend, a few Lumberjack defensive players displayed very poor judgment on the field by feigning injuries to ostensibly slow down the Aggie offense, which apparently was moving quickly into a scoring position. Without question, referees of the game must oblige any fallen player, whether the injury is real or not, so the play was stopped. Yet, in the link below it is clear that

  • Cotton 79 wrote to SFA president

    Dear Dr. Pattillo,

I see that you are a long-standing part of the Stephen F. Austin University community (NOTE: the SFA website mentions him being a part of the school for 40 years - Cotton), and I have to believe an honorable member of that family at that. So, it gives me no pleasure in bringing up this subject with you, but I feel it important to do so... to somewhat protect and secure the integrity of your fine university.

    .

  • This video has taken off and I was reading a blog from aggie fans; here is what an aggie "Cotton79" wrote

    Ags,

The more I saw this video clip, the more it bothered me. I kept going back to the notion that I preferred on the 1st page of this thread, the idea that the SFA Prez should hear about this. It kept percolating in my brain, so I did something about it: I wrote him myself. Today. Here it is:

More to follow in next post from Cotton79

  • Forget I said anything about the .5 million. I don't think anyone is suppose to know about that.....

  • If your college got paid half a million dollars to play a game, wouldn't you lay down and take a few dives as well? True talk. Wouldn't be surprised. Money yells and in this case, makes player fall down a lot. Haha

  • Uzoma (#7): Whats wrong with these guys? Hicks (#87): Dude, dude! They are just being a buncha douchebags.

Jerrod (#1): MAN, FUCK THESE NIGGAS! COME ON!

  • @blackfender88 first of all I'm not a lumberjack. Second, you can't say they faked it when you don't have proof. This video shows two players getting cramps. You can't prove that he faked it or that he really did get cramps. Third, if your going to a&m why do you care. You got in at a&m because they want you to join the armed services. You won't be able to see football because you won't have time. Thank you for serving* but really don't you have better things to do than to lie about that you kn

  • You all are saying like SFA is the only team that did this. Every team does it. A&M did this and so did every other team. A&M should be ashamed of saying that this is the only reason why they beat them.

  • @306mario Got any proof that A&M does it or EVERY team??? u cant make assumptions with out evidence. the only reason yall got to play us was b/c 1). your school got paid to play, and 2). the original team that was scheduled against us changed. i believe it was Michigan State. i cant believe yall are still trying to dispute the strong evidence. its like robbing a convenient store and then when the police come and arrest your ass, you say that wasn't me in the security surveillance video. please..

  • this is a post to everyone defending what SFA did....you are all wrong. this goes on quite frequently however in most programs it isnt as blatant and there is 1 person "assigned" to carry out the injury. now before you claim that isnt what SFA was doing I can promise you it was. im good friends wih someone on that SFA sideline and thats exactly what they were doing.....faking cramps to kill the clock. when i say im friends with...we have known each other for the better part of his life...

  • im ashamed to be a lumberjack they should change there names to sfa ladyjacks petition to send our cheerleaders out there sighn here ____________

  • maybe the fighting aggys should schedule a D1 school like Arkansas State, oh, sorry...

  • @davegillespie0122 right because we are the ONLY school in the nation who starts off with weak opponents. Leave it to idiots to find some way to talk shit on something totally irrelevant

  • Comment removed

  • FAIL

  • Lol... well that was abrupt. I don't see the point of getting injured to delay a game they ended up getting slaughtered at. Unless they just wanted to get off the field. Then they're retarded. I was at that game though (section 509, so I was to the right of where that vid was taken), good game nonetheless.

  • #23 Romeo Robinson & #48 Darren Robinson A**Jacks - should be banned for taking a dive....to stall the a** kicking!

  • #23 Romeo Robinson & #Darren Robinson A**Jacks - should be banned for taking a dive....to stall the a** kicking!

  • @Chinkied HAHA. Sorry your feelings are hurt.

Those players do look like they're acting. I won't accuse them of faking though because I have definitely gotten hamstring cramps while sleeping. :D

  • even if they did have real cramps, it just shows how poorly conditioned and hydrated these players are. so shame on the coaches and trainers.

  • I mean, it's one thing to lose a game, and another thing entirely to lie and cheat. No one is talking trash about them losing the game. People are just pointing out how unsportsmanlike they were when they pretended to get hurt.

  • how embarrassing..not only the score but to stoop to faking injuries. im sorry but the odds of both of them having cramps at the same instance after looking at the bench is highly unlikely. I guess this is what they do in Division III when they run out of time outs.. lol seriously this is lame.

  • Cramps do happen but seriously? That's a little odd. That one guy got a calf cramp, grabbed his leg, spun around (wow!!! theres the referee!!!), then got up and ran off. Calf cramps come and calf cramps go but not that quick. However, the other guy sold it. I think he was legitimately injured or was shot the guy on the grassy knoll.

  • Dislike A&M with a vengeance, but I liked this video. SFA deserved every bit of that ass whoopin' after watching that.

  • it's almost as if the first guy was looking for a cue

  • I played football for eight years. That's fake. No doubt. That is a crappy way to stop the clock. Thanks and Gig Em'. Aggies 2012

  • Hey Lumberjacks! Let's not ruin A&M's fun. Go ahead and let 'em talk trash. We all know this is one of the rare occassions they can actually do so. If it makes them feel good to put down a Division III school then let them. I have no doubt this bad case of inflated ego will be humbled later in the season once they start playing with teams their own size and quality of recruiting. :D

  • @okifanoki0486 shut up and keep hating.

  • @brandoncrim22 and wernt very impressive against rice?

  • Wow all of y'all talking crap about SFA need to shut your mouths and stop acting like you were down on the field and on the sidelines. Newsflash!! You weren't so NONE of you can say what really went down! The game is over! A&M got their win and SFA got their check so everyone just STFU!!!! And as always, axe'em jacks!!

  • Obviously none of you terds have played football. Cramps can happen at any time during, or after, a game. Get off the couch and play a quarter or two and keep your lame ass comments to yourself.

  • Not Cool, Zeus.

  • cmon guys, youre football players. This isnt soccer

  • Man SFA let A&M win this game. They can beat any team they want. A&M only deserves to go to the Wal-Mart Great Value Bowl... HAHAHA

  • SFA's coach must've watched the World Cup & thought "Hey, this is brilliant."

  • AXE EM JACKS!!!!!!! Wow. Nice......

  • the second guy to go down (#48) is a much better actor than the first guy #23. 23 sits down and watches, then just gets up and jogs off. at least 48 manages to kind of look like he's in agony.

  • Eh, this isn't the first time I've seen this. It happens all the time. I've mentioned it to people near me in the stands, and they'll respond with, "WELL WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT?" like I'm some kind of idiot. But it happens fairly frequently.

It'd be cool if they made a rule against it, this isn't soccer.

  • @Firebert This isn't soccer! That's hillarious...and so true. I love the reaction by our guys. Gig 'Em Ags! BTHO La Tech!

  • Not very Aggie like on your part "bbaggie76" assuming players are "gaming" the system. I've been watching SFA play for 10 years, playing teams better than Texas A&M and I've never once seen any player fake an injury. Tisk Tisk, bad bull

  • @sfajack06 Do you have any other explanation as to why two SFA players, after looking at their bench, immediately fell to the ground with "cramps?" What about how the guy sitting on his butt just got up and jogged to the sideline like everything was ok? Not to mention the fact that this was going on all night, but only when SFA was on defense. Hmmmmm, I wonder...

  • Lets see... A&M players should be bigger, faster, stronger, in better shape, all around better football players, correct? I'm sure you would agree. How do you know where they were looking, did you see if they might have signaled the bench that they were cramping? Have you ever seen a football game, after the cramp is stretched out, players normally jog off the field, if he sprinted off the field full speed, maybe I'd be suspicious. You're last comment tells of your lack of knowledge of football.

  • @sfajack06 Did you watch the video? 110% fake. The video doesn't lie.

  • @derekdz not only did i watch the video, I was at the game, gasp!!!! god forbid you see something with your own eyes.

  • @sfajack06 this is an argument you wont win. im good friends wih someone on that sideline and thats exactly what they were doing.....faking cramps to kill the clock.

  • @xjlr002 not trying to win an argument, who on the sidelines are you good friends with, feel free to send it to me in a message. I'm very involved in the athletic program at SFA and would just love to know.

  • thats sfgay for ya!

  • SFA taking dives? Never!!! I've seen these guys run "camps" with local high school & pop warner players and look like fools.

  • I guess that happens when you schedule Junior College teams. Who do the Aggies have next week, Austin Community College?

  • @TexanGiant SFA is a state university fyi. Regardless SFA should be ashamed for this type of behavior.

  • it's so obvious those two talked to each other before they went down. they were plotting to stop the run of play.

  • @jmoface1 - First, FCS teams like SFA, Appalachian State (beat Michigan, 2008) ,North Dakota State (beat Kansas, 2010) deserve an opportunity to play on the big stage sometimes, if they so desire. Second, SFA was a substitute for a previously scheduled D-I opponent, Michigan State.

  • COME ON SFA for real?? You guys are coming to play Northern Iowa next week in our house and you better not pull that crap. The player who first goes down is clearly looking to the sideline for a play and either didn't get one and decided to cramp or the coaches told him to. That is ridiculous. Lumberjacks thought this was a world cup game.

  • A&M should be ashamed to schedule SFA.

  • @jmoface1 i assume you're a longhorn t-shirt fan so . . . t.u. played sam houston in 2006.

  • @jmoface1 You mean like Texas should be ashamed to schedule Rice. Baylor-Sam Houston, Oklahoma-Utah State, Oklahoma State-Washington state etc. My point is everyone in a prestigious conference wants to start off the season with a victory. that is why there seems to be just lopsided football matches the first week.

  • you know I thought it was sketchy how every other play there was an injury. Hell whats funny is all the players are like WTF?!!!! And you can see the guy on the left look at the sideline as if hes being told to fall down, and its like he tells his other teammate to drop too. this is hilarious. And should be pointed out on ESPN.

  • cocksuckers on teh flo

  • thanks sfa for making that the longest fucking game ever

  • i was at that game!! it was crazy! every other play a SFA player was rolling around on the ground!

  • I love all the haters that responded to this video. chill out there jay daddy its a preseason game and a&m is the shit hahaha. Gig em' ags

  • Oh great.. Now they are using this like in Soccer except YOU HAVE TIMEOUTS!

  • @gatethrow

"Payed" really? Almost as bad as saying "brah"

  • haha ez was so pissed

  • lol aggy beating his chest for beating SFA

  • @Korruptkop2590 lol aggy. its aggie. dumbass.

  • @Korruptkop2590 You are a dipshit, sir.

  • Comment removed

  • @gatethrow Um dude, what do you think Texas did with Rice? Or Oklahoma with Utah State? Baylor with Sam Houston, or it could backfire like Kansas did and Ol' Miss did this weekend. Every team pays cupcakes to come play in preseason. Rarely does one team have a ballsack to actually schedule someone good.

  • @gatethrow

  • wow!!! i love how Nwachaku is like: WTF!! They are faking!!! They weren't like this after the play!!!

  • ...and the academy award goes to...

I lol'ed. The "injured" player looked at the sideline then fell to the ground. Is Todd Graham coaching SFA? This should be a 15 yard penalty!

  • that is pretty bad

  • Love how #23 almost forgot that somebody was supposed to go down. You can see him suddenly remember and jump around to look at the sidelines before going down. That's good stuff.

  • @JayDaddy09 nobody is claiming they are tough. ive emailed you and sent you a PM with my contact info. Im assuming your name is Jayquan Johnson, right? you have nothing to be scared about. i sent my email info and havent heard back from you. i touched on the fact that you are a punk kid earlier and you have definately made my point for me. i at least expected some type of reply and smack talk....NOTHING. i gave you too much credit.

  • @xjlr002 Yes my name is Jayquan Johnson but I still haven't gotten an email, pm, or anything from you....I'm waiting you goat loving SOB.

  • OMG! they even did it at the same time! #49 and #30 must've both taken the "cue" at the same time without knowing it! That's just freakin' ridiculous!

  • What a bunch of pansies...

  • Ha, internet toughguy 101, when confronted with a real problem, run to a group that might scare interweb noobs, like 4chan...

    amirite Jayquan?

  • @schmak01 My real problem is that this guy is claiming he sent me his contact info in a personal message...he didn't.

  • @jaydaddy09 dont kid yourself buddy. Maybe you mentioned something along the lines of the bonfire falling to someone in your high school PE class that claims to be an aggie but we both know youve never done so to an actual aggie. If you have and still talking trash then obviously you are mistaken on who is an aggie and who isnt. I sent you a private message with my contact info if you ever wanna meet a real aggie. Doubt I hear back from you.

  • @xjlr002 Well I'm waiting on the personal message with your contact info...I will post it on 4chan. You are probably the toughest guy I have ever conversed with on the internets.

  • Comment removed

  • @JayDaddy09

4chan is not your personal army.

  • @JayDaddy09 I'm refuse to stoop to your level any longer. I already feel dirty from having been down there so long as it is.

    Have a fantastic week! :)

P.S. I'm not that old. So maybe it's you who's hanging on to the past?

  • If you listen closely, at the :07 mark when the SFA players fall to the ground, you can hear what sound like 3 gunshots. There is an investigation being launched into this, but unfortunately what it looks like happened is that the SFA players were shot by a form of non-lethal, copper/tin polymer bullet designed to disintegrate on impact. It feels like what you would expect, which is why the players fell like that. Both are fine but this is very disturbing and we have not heard the last of this
