Listen to Sat Nam singing Ek Ong Kar or Great Compassion Mantra by Ani Choying Drolma on youtube if you want to get a taste of God.

@satsumamoon I checked the songs you mentioned, they sound like a million of others songs around the world ( Yanni, loreena mackenit ...), if u call this music taste of god it is ur opinion that's ok. i know many different music styles but the coran is the best it is unique especially when you understand what the words mean, it"s an acapella recitation just the words and the voices without any effect.Also if u believe in god u'll taste him in every thing, he is the creator of every thing.

There is no way that ANY book can ever be understood by just reciting memorized & perfect phonetics, without trying to even understand a word of it.

The battles like Karbala, Jamal & Siffeen occurred BECAUSE of the Quran and the Muslim world, & THE WORLD today, is in its present pitiful state, because of the Qur'an

Instead of reading the Quran to understand, we recite this book back to Allah (swt). Who in the first place revealed It to us cursing Jews and Christians, Quran 1:7 (Bukhari 4:56:662)

@ScopedOUT2 you may be right, and the things you listed may well just be indicators of something in the ummah. whether that something is wrong or right is not for you or me or anyone else to decide. if someone can recite the quran beautifully just as this man does, then the essential outcome of it is that it encourages people to listen, and for those people to delve into the meaning of the quran, and so, benefit from it.
