  • What's the name of the first song that plays!?

  • Does anyone know the name of the first song in the begining of the cideo?

    I would like to know!

  • Fun! Do you have a wacom cintiq?

  • The second song you played kinda gave me the creeps but I couldn't stop watching or muting the music because somehow, it fitted in the recoding and I didn't want to mess up with the groove you had going on :3

  • What's the name of the song in the begining of the video?

    Great job by the way!

  • Wow, you didn't even use the pen or the paintbucket tool, awsome!

  • Subscribing now :)

  • What Program You Use ?

  • what paint program do u use

  • I love you.

  • I really like your videos! what kind of brushes are you using in order and what sizes? and do you have any particular settings on layers?

  • lol nice but u messed uo the color in the mushroom and hammer but the rest is awesome... mushroom is red background and white dots... Hammer is Black metal part and beige wood handle

  • @TheSameTeam

and the sleeve of luigi is inconsistent, where it went from green to blue (the arm that was holding the mushroom)

  • @YTcrazy indeed and luigi's overalls are darker

  • @YTcrazy i mean the ment to be darker than mario's

  • :3 :D :b

  • i liked how you included luigis red striped sox

  • I AM NOT WORTHY OF YOUR EPICNESS.

    *bow*

  • did you use a scketch pad(sorry for the misspellings)

  • what brush sizes did you use for the line art in this one? The video is too blurry for me to see properly... Might be my eyes.. xD

  • I use a 3px brush for my basic lines. (: For the thicker outlines, a 5px and 9px.

  • oh... I normally use 3 px too, but I hate painting with 3, I don't like how it's not strong at all :P :/

  • Yay for Summers! Yay for Earthbound music! :P Great vid! Thanks for posting XD

  • I am just curious, why do you fill up the picture with purple before coloring in? I saw some people did that photoshop, but I never got the chance to know why.

  • Awesome video, it's extremely helpful (I'm also a huge fan so it's fun to see how your pictures get done)

Just wondering, how large is your canvas?

  • Thanks!

The canvas was about 1000x1000 pixels - I increase the size to 300% when I ink, and then shrink it back down. (:

  • Lovely, but may I ask are you constantly using the pressure tool?

  • The pressure sensitivity is always on for size, yes. The only time I switch certain opacity pressures on or off is if I'm airbrushing backgrounds.

  • LOL summers pasta power.

    This was interesting to watch.

  • The music... It sounds like the theme of Summers in EarthBound!

  • Indeed it is! (:

  • Oh, I'm good!

  • I love your style! Does anyone know what song this is?

  • "Love You" by The Free Design.

  • The one that starts at 5:31 is by Simon and Garfunkel "The Only Living Boy in New York" one of my favorites. :)

  • @shadownightdust Do you know the name of the first song that plays?

  • Thanks!

  • how did you do the line art?

the dark black lines i mean.

the lines are all varied in thickness

is this because you used a drawing tablet?

i usually use the pen tool to do my line art but it all seems too geometric

i prefer the rougher drawn look

  • Yes, I use a tablet - Graphire4 6x8, to be precise, with size jitters set to pressure sensitivity.

  • hmm that explains it

    I NEED A TABLET!

cant set pressure sensetivity if theres no pressure being applyed lol

  • OOoh... such professional drawings :D

I was just wondering (since I'm a total Newbie at Photoshop ^_^; ) what are yuor brush settings because I can't get my brush tool to be pressure sensitive to my tablet pen?

  • Need to install the drivers~

  • Under the first setting in brushes (Shape Dynamics), switch the size jitter to Pen Pressure. That should do it!

    Good luck! (:

  • wowzers :0

I'm just a simple gal, and I have but one question:

how is it you can stay inside the black lines when you're coloring it in?

  • By using layers~! :D The top layer is the lines, and below it you use it for color. Think of it as invisible sheets of paper layered over one another.

  • oooooh! I would always put the coloring layer on top. This makes much more sense, thanks so much! ^^

  • You're pretty much a beast. o:

I remember when you used to post stuff on ZU. I was like o3o.

  • I feel like I just learned a whole lot.. thanks a bunch!

love your art btw, im a major fan
