I like how people are down playing Flash when he got to the quarter, semi, and finals of the 3 biggest tournaments, not to mention a record in proleague that puts beats the crap out of anyone who came close *coughJaedongcough*. No one did that well across the board. You really know a player hit it big when they are insulted for not winning anything, even though a bunch of other players they say are playing well didn't come as close as he did.
He started losing at same time in every league. I think GomTV was only tour where he won a late bracket match after the loss against Luxury. Of course people expect a lot from someone who was, with JD, most dominant player in year(s). People of course compare players' success against the expectations - savior getting to ro8 would be more surprising than JD reaching finals.
Agreed. A lot of people really exaggerated his slump. IMO he probably should concentrate on fewer matches so he can actually make it to the end of at least one individual league. It is hard to focus on winning every game 4+ different leagues.
Well he hasn't played at the level he used to play at. The games he lost, he was soundly beaten and the games he won were never stompings like they used to be. I mean look at this game, Flash's turrets were really late, if july hadn't botched the muta harass, he would have been badly beaten. Jaeding on the other hand, plays well every game (side note, was jaedong in the proleague, I thought he skipped a bunch of games to prepare in the solos
I prefer the Korean commentary even though I can't understand it. Not dissing these guys, I just love the energy of the Koreans.
