@MrV1C7OR If you're after something for bedroom levels, look into the Princeton range. The twin is heavy, loud and clean. I got no idea where people look towards this amp and complain when they can't get a moderately low break up level.
@bilbomarks I feel you, but it's mostly because of the microphone... usually the quack and twang are beautiful crystalline powerful sounding attributes of the strat.
@MrNebelful I agree with you about the twang and crystalline qualities a strat can have, but to me, they don't come from those pickup positions. Neck alone, bridge alone, and middle alone are the only usable pickup position in my opinion.
I'll echo what the others are asking...is Chuck just making this up or is it a real song? I'm dying to know the song because I want to learn it. I've tried picking it out but on my screen half the guitar neck is cut off so I can't follow everything. Somebody help us!! This song is so badass!!

@bigdaveupload1980 probably sound good, just make sure the pedal isnt on particularly bright settings. at most you might have to use an overdrive to boost mids and gain slightly, so that the fuzz has a different tonal pallette to work off, but its up to your ears =)
I just got this amp and all I can say is.....WOW! Great job Fender on this recreation of a classic amp. Amazing clean tone and even better when pushed with a great overdrive pedal (I currently use a BOSS Blues Driver but it's going to be going away to be modded so I have a Digitech Bad Monkey coming to take its place for awhile).
Is the Twin Reverb RI much louder than the Deluxe Reverb RI like lots of people say of forums etc.? Because today I've tested both side by side, both at volume 3 and they seemed about just as loud. Was there something wrong with one of these amps? If so I'll have to rethink about my choice.. Please respond!
@ampardey it depends on year, condition, sound-quality, degree of originality (or modification), and where you are located. (an amp in north dakota will sell for less than an amp in LA because there is a smaller pool of potential buyers.)
I'm in Phoenix and have seen Master Volume TR's sell locally for as little $600 recently. So unless it's a 68 or 69, yeah, that's probably too much.
@ampardey No, you can get one for as low as$700. I guess it depends on condition. Don't buy it, if you do at that price you're just driving the value up, more people will start selling them for that price. We don't want that.
god i miss my twin reverb after watching this lol. the clean on the mesa lonestar (what i have) is comparable though, and the drive channel is glorious. this thing is the real deal though.
Man, this guy is amazing!! He is the reason i bought my super reverb, and the reason i got into blues, and the reason i started using a strat, lol. Chuck if u see this comment all i can say is THANK YOU MAN!!
well depends on your personal style and taste......if i were you id get htis one because you can pretty much play any style you want on it and it will sound amazing (its like painting on a transparent canvas)
If you google search tone on the internet, you should have this video as the first and last search result.Lord have mercy, the fender 65 twin reverb is a must have.
Chuck, I could just sit and listen to you play all day long. You just play with such a sweet sense of tone. You've got a gift, bro!

The sound is awesome, kinda like John Mayers version of "Lenny".
It's similar. But he uses less reverb.

I couldn't agree more man. The soloing is completely out of key. Haha, its pretty to see someone with adequate technique have such a horrible ear.

its not out of key-hes soloing in E, which is the key of the riff involving the octave that he goes around...
