  • I always come to check your performance on megadeth songs to see if i'm doing it right, love your covers man!

  • @bones1343 Sweet, thanks!

  • hey, the song would fit perfectly if you wore a freddy krouger, jason voorhees, or even a michael meyer's mask. cuz... the lyrics tells it all

  • best cover ive seen!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Damn no one can get polands solo tone but those were some great solos

  • @megadeth8592 I never try to duplicate tones, there's not much point as I don't have the same amplifier or cabinet or anything anyway. Thanks! :)

  • @megadeth8592 Poland? What the fuck are you talking about?

  • @killtrosity Chris Poland?

  • @killtrosity Poland was the lead guitarist during this era :P

  • Amazing fucking cover man.

  • thanks for the upload! best megadeth song in my opinion

  • fucking greaaat

  • Hey can you tab the first solo?? :)

  • @dragonuchiha17 There's already a good tab for it, check the description ;)

  • man this guy can shredd it up.. ur like part of megadeth err somethin good cover bro

  • Wowww awesome man i lov first solo!! O.O Yeahh!!

  • Nice cover dude! how long have you played guitar?

  • @tsahab123 I have about 5 years of practice routine (1h/day).

  • @SwedishBerzerker got any tips

for me who have played in allmost 3 years?

  • @tsahab123 Yeah, check your inbox! :)

  • @SwedishBerzerker Hey man, I could use that tip too !

  • @s0ulfire Sure!

  • I heard the best Good Mourning / Black Friday cover.

    Awesome!

  • Comment removed

  • @Bullshit4twenty Not even close, it's Joel Hagroth :P

  • Great cover man. Have you come up with your own songs? You for sure got skittles

  • @blackblurable Thanks! Yes! I'm currently writing my own solo EP for release later this year! One song from the album is already up, "Life Finite". I've also made a parody song called "Prey of the Dragon" and a very old, more thrashy song called "Opus I". So check them out in the mean time! :D

  • good job man =) like

  • 5.10 HOLY SHIT,niceeeeee

  • Hi Dave Mustane but you must learn please ????

  • @MultiJugu ?

  • @SwedishBerzerker

    nice slayer shirt

  • Dude I need help on the really fast descending lick on bar 40, A private lesson would be nice :)

  • @dogsoup13 Yeah, I could do that tomorrow. :)

  • @SwedishBerzerker ty so much dude i can play it at 75% speed but when i switch to 100% my brain malfunctions and starts improvising gibberish.

  • @dogsoup13 It's up now!

  • I thumbs upped your vid because your obviously a very good player, but you know this song was recorded 1/4 step down for the record, also I can tell you improved the solos a bit, still sounded amazing though, overall you did an excellent job with this song, I've just finished learning Blackbird by AB and now I am learning this song, this will prolly take me a week or soo,but anyway great job dude.

  • @dogsoup13 Thank you. I'm very well aware of that, I've covered the entire album! ;) GM/BF is a very complex song. In fact, it'll take longer to learn than any other Megadeth song.

  • Did you look up tabs or tab it yourself? I was thinking of tabbing it myself because internet tabs are typically trash, but this sounds pretty accurate.

  • @ZomgGuitarz1234 Powertabs are usually very accurate, check out the bottom of the description!

  • @SwedishBerzerker Alright, thanks a lot dude. Tabbing it myself would have taken forever anyways.

  • @ZomgGuitarz1234 You're welcome :)

  • good god almighty

  • Man, their first 2 albums are sick as fuck. Peace Sells is what inspired me to mainly play in 1/4 step down.

  • @DarkScythe33398 Yup, their first two are the best ones IMO. In fact, one of my favorite Megadeth songs is Loved to Deth.

  • @SwedishBerzerker Last rites was fucking sick as hell

  • man, kudos, you played that perfectly but just one thing

please dont make the the solos so much louder than the rest because it detracts from the overall awesomeness of the rest of the song

  • @JamballsDeluxe I know, it's just that my software at the time had +15dB and +20dB - the rhythm track already had +15dB so I had no choice. :/

  • Amazing please play

    Metallica - One

Testament - Musical Death (A Dirge)

  • @MetalliMegaTestame I've already covered One, it's not perfect but I don't feel like bothering recovering it.

  • Holy...

How long have you been playing for?

  • @kymon117 1h/day for five years I think.

  • now think that you need to sing while you play this song

  • @pedent1 Fuck you :)

  • @SwedishBerzerker do it :D then u will be dave mustaine 2 :p

  • @pedent1 I can't :( That's Mustaine's biggest talent - he can play really complex rhythms and sing at the same time.

  • @SwedishBerzerker very nice ive just learned to play this on bass along with all of rust in peace u r awesome

  • @styxinyourneck09 Cool man, thanks! :)

  • wat guitar is that model ??? i want one cant rember the name?

  • @dimebagDARRELL187 When will people learn to check the description first? :/ It's a JAckson Warrior MG.

  • good job.great song.the heaviest song for megadeth lyrically.

  • im going to travel all the wau to your country to give u a thumb up for this cover ; )

  • @pedent1 Thanks man! :)

  • Nice job!

  • glad to see that theres someone who can shred without using their pinky (except for chords) i cant play with my pinky to save my life

  • @wildbucky Just my preference :P

  • Best of your videos..

    very good cover!!

  • carrying**

  • I can play the livin SHIT out of chords, do a blistering SOLO on the high E string..back and fort

( not sure if the site is capable of absorbing that) dont wanna be overloading the servers with views lookin for that stuff, so I'll sit back and let you light weights take the weight off of me..

    Thanks for caring the weight....Kudos

No autographs please, lets keep this comment section for some one else...hahahahha

  • @flyyspit Only on the high E string? -.-

  • Your recording is from an i audio 7... damn...night have to get me one cause your recording is awesom.

  • @drew11556 Yup :) It's a pretty good mic for a small mp3-player, so instead of going for an iPod it's a good alternative because the quality is superb and it's VERY small and handy. It's cancelled however, the only edition available now is the iAudio 9, it's thinner but a bit larger, but has pretty much the same features plus speakers (they suck but they can be used in conjunction with the alarm function). It doesn't have line-in however.

  • @SwedishBerzerker hey im trying to determine the pros and cons on floyd roses. can you tell me what you like about it and what you don't? Thanks

  • @coleeo23 What's not to like? ;) The only problem with them is tuning, and you'd better get an Original Floyd Rose or it'll get out of tuning pretty easily.

  • @coleeo23 what about when a string breaks or when you restring it? any problems with balance?

  • @coleeo23 Yeah, the whole bridge would lean backwards a bit. But I've never snapped a string while playing, they're pretty loose.

  • @SwedishBerzerker cool thanks.

  • @coleeo23 how did you get good at alternate picking your solos? ive been trying for a very long time and i cant move my fingers as fast.

  • @coleeo23 Alternate picking and moving your fingers are two different sides of the same coin ;) I practice for about one hour every day, mostly doing chops - actually PRACTICING rather than playing songs. Licks running up and down the neck, stuff like that.

  • This fucking dwarfs me being able to play holy wars solos and all

  • Awesome! a very hard song to play, well done :}

  • Best cover on youtube

  • fukin cool man. damn excellent job! you did killer bro

  • @klivevilk666 Thanks man!

  • your guitar sounds to be out of tune a little but nice cover mate! your a beast!!!!

  • Woooooow ! you're really good! , by the way , hi from Buenos Aires Argentina ;)

  • @theargentinita Thanks man. About 40% or so seem to be from South America, awesome!

  • @SwedishBerzerker ahhahah , I'm a Woman :p , yep, here in Argentina we love Megadeth ;)

  • @theargentinita Awesome, I hope more women find the salvation that is metal :)

  • very nice playing im sure it took a lot of practice i especially like how you make the lead parts louder and the camera angles are cool too.

  • @burnummaster Yeah, this song is tricky, especially the clean part and the main riff.

  • @Savage1107 \m/ Thanks!

  • epic i can play this song to except that i have a shity set up

  • Did you install the emgs yourself?

  • @IgetHIwithTowlie The EMG's were already in it, it's the standard pickups for the WRMG. I have changed pickups on my Washburn however, but my local music store did it for me.

  • wow very hard song

  • what program do you use to record/ make two windows in your videos ??

  • @RcCoKtElCreW It's in the description.

  • So this or Lucretia ? which is harder ?

  • @Sparks424 Good question! Lucretia is very tricky, but so is this one. They're about equal, Lucretia may be a tad harder.

  • @SwedishBerzerker Wow Makes me wanna play Lucretia even more haha . Great vids though man love watching .

  • @Sparks424 Alright, thanks! :)

  • You look a little like chris broderick haha!

  • Thats seriously awesome dude \m/

  • Once Again Jackson Guitars Kills The Rest :D Shred Like No Other

  • @jackassfilms69 True that, I haven't played too many guitars in my life but this one's so comfortable I just don't feel the urge to try anything else ;)

  • Awesome, stands out from others that just play along with the song, you actually play all the parts and put it together. Beast.

  • @warblazer I guess I have a disease of some sort that pushes me to try to make everything I do perfect. I can spend an hour to get one riff 100% clean when recording my own songs coming up soon. It's a pain but rewarding once it's done :)

  • I remember a while back you didn't know who played what solo's on this song and I got my hands on the original guitar track of this song, I uploaded it on my profile so if you want to hear the difference between Chris and Dave it's up there. Awesome cover though man, Your the first to attempt Polands solo at the end

  • And once more, Sweden proves their bestiality at playing metal. Great shredding and riffing there.

  • @Jagguar20 Thanks dude!

  • @SwedishBerzerker do u figure out the songs or get tabs and if tabs where ? :)

  • @AlexM1175 Usually tabs, sometimes I figure out small parts like solos by myself when the tabs aren't perfect, sometimes complete songs (I Ain't Superstitious for example). It's in the description ;)

  • nice jammin man! peace....

  • nice cover and shirt

  • hey is this song tuned down 1/4 step?

  • @rokamelon Yeah, the whole album is right between E and Eb standard.

  • thats some slim looking jackson!

  • you should cover chosen ones!

  • @mehlliont Chosen Ones and Loved To Deth are my top priorities whenever I get to covering KIMBABIG :)

  • fukin perfect man!

  • hey man this cover was badasss!!you should make some tutorials??

  • @alanmejia38 Sorry man, but there are good tabs for most of these songs already. This one in particular is at abysslord (powertab). But I have made a tutorial/lesson for "I Ain't Superstitious" since I tabbed it by myself and there are no complete tabs for it.

  • Watching you play this reminds me of how much Megadeth inspired Dimebag Darrel, thanks man, great job!

  • bravisimo , nice take on one of megadeth's best song

minor errors in the into; hardley noticable , thumbs up , keep on shreddin!!!

  • Brilliant cover! that first solo is certainly hard to phrase but well done. Probably my favourate megadeth song

  • Comment removed

  • dave plays all solos? or poland play one?

  • @sonnic1995 poland plays opening (slow parts) then dave plays the part at 1:08 and then he also plays the solo at 2:32 and poland plays the final solo, if you listen to the guitar track you can tell who plays what

  • @zzzhuh Is that Poland at 2:32? I always thought it sounded like Dave, but it does have some Poland-ish things like the jazzy note and randomness at 2:33. Also, the final solo is kind of obvious ;)

  • @SwedishBerzerker surprisingly it is dave. I've looked at the solo and it is pretty damn hard lol but none the less a fun song to play tricky dicky though, nice cover btw man

  • @sonnic1995 Poland plays the first one. It's easy to recognize Dave's solos since they are pretty much always focused around the super pentatonic.

  • @SwedishBerzerker so... poland just play the first one?

  • @sonnic1995 and the very last solo, and yes the first two albums are both a 1/4th step down. i thought a 1/4th step down was a half step down but it's right before Db

  • @zzzhuh and it will sound bad in stangard tuning?

  • @sonnic1995 well i wouldn't say bad you'll just sound a bit higher, when i first got into megadeth i didn't really notice the difference but once you go from 1/4th step to standard, you really notice how high it is

  • @zzzhuh but im talkin about...some power chords will sound bad in standar? no about higher o lower.... i t will sound "ok" or bad?

  • @sonnic1995 Nah, you're right, I just forgot how many solos there are. But the first solo of Black Friday does sound like Dave, but not 100%.

  • @SwedishBerzerker and my last stupid question..... its on standar tuning? because one friend toldme that is 1/4 step down

  • @sonnic1995 Yeah, the entire album is 1/4 step down, between E and Eb that is.

  • @SwedishBerzerker and if i play the song in standar tuning they will sound bad?

  • @sonnic1995 No, it'll sound exactly the same (to a human ear). But if you play along to the track, you won't sound like the original recording, obviously.

  • @SwedishBerzerker to human ear lol xD

well i never use backing tracks, some times the drums or bass...but not the album song, so i will not use a gutar backing track :O

  • @sonnic1995 What I meant is it's all about relativity. A computer would say you're playing the wrong notes, but a human ear listens to the intervals and relations between notes, and thus think it sounds the same unless played at the same time as the original.

Alright, then you're fine. Just make sure the bass and vocals are pitched right as well ;)

  • @SwedishBerzerker i know if i play it with the album song as backing track it will sound like if i am not in the correct tunning... i realized that when i was playing the conjuring with the album song... well anyway i have to learn the last solo...so... maybe i will upload first a cover of holy wars or somethin

anyways..thaks dude.... and my english sucks xD

  • impressive man ! very nice !,,,,, takes me back some 20 yrs ago when I had a mullet and listenened to this stuff...

  • where did u get the tabs

  • @thrashinallaround356 There's a link at the bottom of the description now. Thanks for checking it out!

  • Hey, any chance you're gonna upload some stuff of maybe Endgame? Or some stuff of your own band you was talking about? :D

Or maybe some covers from Death? Ever got into Chuck Schuldiner? (If not, check out a song like ''Story to Tell'' or ''Voice of the Soul'', he's like Dave Mustaine on steroids!)

  • @Brutalyeah Yeah, Endgame is coming up whenever I'm done with KIMBABIG. And some of my own stuff is coming up this month.

I own Leprosy, but I only think Leprosy (song) is really good. The others are ok though. I'm going to listen to that red one soon, and those songs you mentioned :P

  • @SwedishBerzerker

Ah okay, I really recommend starting on ''The Sound Of Perseverance'' album. It takes some time to get used to, I didnt get into it after I listened it 20 times. (Kinda the same as starting on Megadeth, if you might remember it). But it gets better everytime you listen it again... :P

  • @Brutalyeah Leprosy sounds a lot like regular death metal like Entombed and Deicide and all that. Perseverance sounds a little more sophisticated, you know? I like the brutalness of keg-snare-keg-snare in some situations but they used it in every single song on Leprosy except for the third one I think. Anyway, I listen to it when I'm at the gym :P

  • Leprosy has such a classic death metal sound, I agree! I dont really like to listen to it tho cus the riffs start to bore me at some point and the vocals arent really there to compensate.

Perseverance sounds way more sophisticated, thats exactly the right word, it's a masterpiece to me, like Rust in Peace! The speed and tone alterations are so fucking sick! Blows my mind cus its so retarded heavy, like someone going nuts on your head with a hammer XD while Leprosy feels a little fuzzy or smthin

  • @Brutalyeah I think the vocals sound pretty good, and the drums sound mighty. It's like 100% reverb, 100% power xD But musically, Perseverance seems superior. But Leprosy (song) has some really cool rhythms.

  • @Brutalyeah Whenever I get done with KIMBABIG! Some of myo wn stuff is coming up this month.

I own Leprosy, but I only think Leprosy (song) is really good. The others are ok I guess. I'm going to get "Sound of Perseverance" soon, I've heard "Voice of the soul" and one more song and I think it sounds great!

  • dude.... nice!! it is a really hard song... i cant even imagine playing it!!!

  • Dude you're way too sharp.

  • Does anybody use super slinkies besides me anymore?

  • @alecL0L crhis broderick does, i use what dave mustaine has, GHS boomers

  • @XIntoxicationalX I think slinkies are the bomb.

  • @jaydog664 I can't give you an honest answer on that, I haven't actively compared different strings, sorry.

  • That riff at 4:04... I dunno, I could never get that one. It's like it doesn't make sense to my fingers or something.

  • @JaymzLea But you can nail the main riff (3:00 and so forth)? That one is way harder IMO.

  • @SwedishBerzerker Yeah, oddly, I have no problem with that one. Weird, no?

  • @JaymzLea Yeah, I remember practicing on the main riff for days, while I could do that other riff just like that :P

  • @SwedishBerzerker I don't think it's the fingering, just the notation, the notes are very weirdly spaced.

  • @JaymzLea Huh? I thought you were talking about the trill-riff?

  • @SwedishBerzerker I was. I guess I didn't word it right. It's kinda hard to explain, sorry about that.

  • @JaymzLea Alright, nvm. It sounded kind of weird when you only use three frets :P

  • Awsome!!!

  • omg this is awesome !

  • good job man this song is pretty tough... your picking is great but work on the bends a bit !!!
