I was sitting in the bottom few rows of the upper section at the finish line.

I'm scared of heights too but it wasn't too bad. The track is so big it kind of offsets the heights factor.

Yeah, I didn't know about that til afterward. I was looking though my camera and was concentrating on the smoking car. I thought he was just running away from the wreckage. Didn't know til later he was pulling a Ricky Bobby.

Yeah, pretty much. Plus the zoom on my camera absolutely sucks. And knowing it was gonna happen would've helped as well.
