With respect to the sun being at 90 degrees and the characters being on the x-axis aka. 0 or 180 degrees, your shadows should be represented by a 270 degree vector on an x, y axis. Just saying...

I came to watch this video with high hopes of seeing something vibrant, edgy, and abit unique, but the colours, as vibrant as they are, are dulled by the amount of black and white in the image and it kinda knocks me off track. The style of the art itself is really generic too, the style of the characters, the landscape, the arrangement of the overall image. To me, the characters remind me of something you'd see on a cheap spanish cartoon show. It's a shame too because the actual concept is good.
