i downloaded this sweet app but i cant get the lights to stay green. it sends signals if i hover a rect but i cant record a sequence. do you know how to do this?
this program just sends / receives midi note data. it implements a very dumb simulation of the monome pad. to do anything useful / fun with it you will need to have code running on your pc to talk to the ds. most of the monome stuff is implemented in processing and maxmsp.
hey how do you make this work on ableton ?

i tried yesterday it is great!
but why dont pack all the 4 program in a rom?
i love the pulse but it will be much better if the control can be added from a internal ds sequencing like the monome could be isn't it?
even the axe is brilliant but it as the rithm
insted of a built is 909 ( there is a ds 909 and is quite good as well)
at the end.......
great stuff i will look for more always!!!!
viva la ds music!!

Search in google for: midi app monome ds
You need a DS and a special card called a linked, to let you run homebrew software. Something like the M3DS Simply or R4 DS
