How can he know if keystudio is pro tools SE, not LE? Digidesign's Pro Tools only works with certain audio interfaces (soundcards) and without any of those in that list, pro tools isn't even going to work...at all. With or without keyboard.

i just got the keybord and i already got protools LE install. so when i hook my keyboard up i get no sound. when i brought it it came wit the protools SE software. so my question is can i use the keyboard on the SE or do i install the SE? im i missing sumtin?

That`s great bro` ! But sell you skateboard,bmx or PS3 to get the full version of M-powered ! It`s got 300 more features and is the proverbial BeesKnees dude ! I was lucky and got a bundle with the Keystudio,Fast-track and M-powered 8 really cheap ! So i now have two spare copys of "Essential" that i dont need! Well worth the extra cash ! Now i know how good it is i would pay the list price !I got the good deal `cos it`s at M-Powered 9 now ! Sorry Cubase! Twas fun but.....! Peace Ye`all !!

@hEaTMAkeReZ They are only in LE and above. M-Powered is very limited. You can download VSTi's though and then covert them to RTAS.

i returned this product after pro tools said that it couldnt identify the keyboard and blue thing then i did the troubleshoot step by step (got them "drivers") just like on the maudio website and nothing changed. they should make these cheaper products so people who play an instrument more than they sit in front of a computer can figure it out, fuck you m-audio

@Xapplin Of course you have to install drivers, but that only takes a couple mega bytes. also you need a DAW to host vst's.

I visit their support side and they don't help me ...when I try to open pro tools it says " Unable to locate M-Audio hardware .Make sure your hardware is connected and turned on."

When I tryed to upload It says " This version of Windows is not supported by USB MIDI series installer" WHAT TO DO ?
