Please help me: Should I grab the board before I get my front foot off the board or I should get my foot off first and skate will pop to my hand? John Lucero? I have hardly heard that name in 20 years. He wore glasses and skated for Viraflex, then had that great board out from Schmitt Stix. I think he was a Skate City local and was good friends with Grosso. I saw him skate Mile High Ramp, he was very good.... But why do you ask about John Lucero?

not to mention Rodney Mullen and Jay Adams, Tony Alva, and Stacy Peralta.Without those 4, skating would be practically nothing.Adams made skating popular in the 70s,Alva is a well known and looked up to name in skating,Peralta sponsored many skaters that skate today and helped a lot in popularizing to the public skating,and without Mullen,an ollie would still be 6 inches high and we wuld not get the air we need for tricks, he also invented many othr tricks like kickflip, heelflip, and casper

he showed up to a local ramp once. he could'nt get outta the car cuz he had bad knees. this is what 1984? he finally got out and he could barely walk. we hung out just maybe he would skate. after awhile, he padded up. this guy could'nt walk, much less skate. Well, he did skate that vert ramp and people........... on top of that, he was the nicest guy, through it all a great sport.
