Yeah, haha, grass is horrid, woulda looked more professional if it'd been mown first. Also, a couple tips. The proper placement of the plant and the correct part of the foot are important, but a major item you left out is to remember what part of the ball to look at when you strike it, and at young ages especially training them to watch their foot hit that point. That way they learn to kick exactly that they are aiming at. :)

You are teaching these kids all wrong! At age 13 I was able to kick a soccer ball over 60mph. And yes I had it clocked. I dont kick it like that, and when I decided to teach my friend to shoot like me to see what would happen, well what do you know he kicks it VERY hard now. I am the type of person, after I shoot on you, you wont want to go back into the goal.

There is absolutely no secret about running and kick the ball "at the same time". The only thing you need to know, is to run "straight" and having a good anticipation of your opponent's movement to change your direction on the good time. To make it better, you don't need to run to kick the ball correctely BUT you need to organize your movements with your speed to adjust your kick. If you try multiple times, you'll get used to it and you'll be ready to kick some asses !! Good Luck.
