This is something being commented but my apologies for not verifying what seems to be only a malicious rumour. The truth is its very annoying to read so many nasty comments about Miss Gibraltar. Today she arrived home radiant and absolutely beautiful. Practically all of Gibraltar was there to welcome her. She was driven down Main Street in an open car wearing her crown, confetti and flags flying she was adsolutely stunning and beaming with happiness. She will do so well as Miss World 2009.

...many ethnic groups are represented..some in greater numbers yet European nations dominate? That's definitely intentional. If you include Asia and South America the ratio is 101:50...so for every 1 Miss Gibraltar it's probable there were about 2 ethnic contestants who weren't even considered for advancing in the competition..allowing yourself to believe what happens on stage is the only thing taken into consideration when crowning Miss World is a little naive

India and Gibraltar are both British territories and Europe has the most representation even though Africa, Asia and South America combined have far numerous countries....statistically it is just impossible for European nations to have such a huge representation without explicit favoritism being shown...when it comes to countries in Africa and Europe the ratio is about 54:50..but the first Black African winner wasn't crowned until 2001
