I'm glad to see ya looking happy! We've had a few pretty days here, but for some reason I've been in a rain type of mood here lately, so the sun makes me scowl. Haha.
A guy on the street asked me for a cigarette. I gave him the whole pack (almost full) and tossed him my lighter (even though I think he already had one). Haven't smoked since. That probably won't work for everyone... worth a shot, though.
My cousins live in Olympia, and I went out there for 10 days prior to my young cousins Bar Mitzvah (this was 10 years ago). It rained 7 out of the 10 days I was there, day after day, constant drizzle. It was so depressing I wondered how anyone could stand it. A lot of trees, though. I never did see Mt. Rainier the whole 10 days I was there :)
Spring-Summer-Fall in Olympia is beautiful. Most of the time. The problem for me is when my mood intersects the not so good days and they spiral around each other into a mood/weather of DOOM!
My grandfather moved to the pacific NW late in life because of the climate. I share his taste in weather. I actually like overcast drizzly days. Sunny days are also great, just not all the time.
