Its clear that this song is about the devil, if you notice when he says "And let me loose, I fear I've finally found a way" loose I fear is a play on of words as Lucifer sounds extremely similar when you say it, none the less fucking awesome song devil makes the best music!!!
@raiiderhead Its more than likely talking about a supernatural being because it says"No mortal was meant to know such wonder, one look in the mirror told me so, come darkness I'll see her again" so probably satan and he just said she instead of he to make it sound like a love song or to add mystery to it but then again I could be wrong this is just what I get from the song!!
Secret treaties , Tryanny and mutation , Onyour feet or on your knees are the albums that got me into them , They are MIT grads and are like proffesors of heavy rock beauty ! All the albims are excelent espeacialy with Al and Joe Bouchard . I can't spell but I know the best when I hear it . The guitar solo on 7- screaming diz busters is my favorite and turn it up loud ! ( on your feet album )
4get about the images in their vids,4get about the BOC rep of satanic what hav u,4get even about their lyrics&what the song might b about(which i know's hard4listeners) Focus on the band, musicianship, and production. The musical genius. These guys were so ahead of the game. The bass&drum r so distinct with such amazing tone. The singer sounds youthful&mature at the same time.A smooth pleasing cool&talented voice.Their guitarist is the epitome of what a rock band should b...long love the mighty BOC!
This song is so deliciously cheesy. One of my fave halloween songs, just because it actually has some fun with horror, especially vampires, which are so stuffy and corny when people take the idea seriously.
This band is clearly under appreciated, they clearly are good and better than bands like Metallica and ACDC! They should be in the same position as Led Zeppelin or at least close to them but many don't even know! Man people were dumb to not notice them back then!
Well they are a damn good band. This is a trippy album cover, especially if you know something about the occult. Its probably the trippiest band there is.
@hobosown Loved BOC for yonks - but can't see them as the MOST *creative* band ... Alice Cooper, SAHB, Genesis ... BOC on a par, but not MORE creative, no.
My favorite song off this album, although ive been a fan from the first time i heard cities on flame on the radio in 72. spooky tune to say the least. on your feet or on your knees.............
