Is a game not allowed to have sequels? What do you want them to do, change the game in some way? If it gets changed, people will complain and say it should have stayed the same, and if it doesn't change, people will complain for it being the same as all the past iterations.

At least rockband releases the songs as DLC instead making a completely new game for it. And when they do release a new game, it actually improves on the original formula.

The point of the game is to make Rockband kid friendly. Before the songs may have had cussing and most of the songs were just rock songs. Lego Rockband has many modern and old hits kids will like.

The whole point is to make Rockband more kid friendly. Maybe it is hype too, but don't tell me you think every company that sells any sort of product is out in the business world to be nice. In the end, it's all about money.
