@MrMatterhorn89 I presume it's a case that the footage in this case might have been only 8 mm or so originally, whereas the Pirates footage was probably shot on better film. HD scanning on this would only show the film grain and crackles more.

He said there will never be another disneyland AND THAT JUST MAKES ME MAD THAT THEY CALL ALL THOSE PARKS OUT IN THE WORLD DISNEYLAND they did not follow walts visions well preatty much a lot of the theme parks they dont follow walts visions anymore.

This makes me sad because he didn't live much longer after this press conference. He died in 1965. And I noticed that he was very vague about the specifics of Disney World. Instead, he spent a good amount of time talking about Disneyland.

So this makes me realize he wasn't able to shape Disney World in the same way he created Disneyland simply because he wasn't there. Would it be more accurate to call it Roy Disney World?

Some people say one man cant change the world. Walt Disney did so, and even made a 2nd world to prove it! Im 17 but he is my idol, and hes the best one. All he ever did is want to make people happy!

Walt truely was an inspirational man. I particularly found it interesting when he said he doesn't like to do sequels or anything, whereas now, or at least, in the Michael Eisner days, all they did was sequels. Amazing video to watch!

just think this was a recording of the press confrence about Disney World! now look we're facing the biggest expantion is the history of Magic Kingdom! i'm 19 and i know that Disney World parks by heart! this is one of yhose events i'm going to remember when i have kids and go to disney with them. lol its amazing that it's only been 40 years but Disney seems to have been here forever!
