I generally like his music but I HATE this song. People throw the title Uncle Tom around need to consider what it is they are insinuating about themselves and the one who they are placing the title on. I've seen people comment to this video while naming Carlton of the fresh prince or Clarence Thomas as Uncle Toms but what about the character of these men is so poor. Party affiliation is not a means of deciding how Black a person is. Black people have the right to be individuals.

Dee-1 is directly inline with the first song I feel in love with "Jay, 50, and Weezy. I love the brother, and he overstands it is going to be hard for many to get on board with the political/social commentary in his songs. Too many of some of you have consumed so much music without any social commentary that you it seems "cray" when you hear a song like this. But, it will be just fine. Keep listening and soon hopefully, Dee-1 will be preferred on Lil Wayne and the like.
