@Sorvos i know i agree with you. when i first saw the very first underworld and saw that vampires were nothing compared to the warewolves.. i was like."huh" it is like human fighting a warewolf. but question. you remember vickor killing a warewolf in the first movie with one hand... how come he can't beat this one?

@MusicLuv80 First of all, that was Viktor, the second most powerful vampire. That counts for something against a regular Lycan, although the Lycan in question was Raze. Anyway, he didn't kill Raze with one hand. He pinned him to the ground and killed him with a sword. An by this one you mean Lucian, first of the new generation, able to control his transformation, probably the most powerful Lycan, second only to William. And he defetead Viktor in human form. Imagine Lucian's power in Lycan form.

@MusicLuv80 Yes! But I don't understand your point. That's what I said. When I said new generation, I reffered to the second generation, that of Lucian, which was new at that time, when this movie takes place. The first generation were definitely stronger from a physical point of view, but the second generation retained much of their human intelects, which is why Lucian dominated them in the forest, using only his mind.

@joshwesthill You've probably gotten all kinds of answers to this, but I've seen a few wrong. The reason he didn't turn to save her, wasn't only that it was day when she died, but that he had silver arrows in his back. Silver makes them revert to human form and prevents them from changing. So, from the point they shot him till the point he forced them out, he was simply human.
