Too bad you skipped the most pesky malware, the LockEmAll thingies. I was testing with those and if they get past, the system will go dud. And then it's a dirty and complicated procedure to bypass that junk and clean it. It can't get any worse than that really as it renders PC completely useless.

I used to watch alot of your videos, but then realised how stupid it is. YOU DONT NEED ALL THAT, you are running norton and comodo, and you have no viruses, guess what. I am running nothing and i too have no viruses. even if you are an idiot and click on every link and popup then MSE will do fine. And you claim to spend all this time removing viruses and trying to fix clients OS's. You do know a reinstall will take half as long and you will have a more responsive system? you have much to learn.

Oh God...I Had A Silent Trojan Horse Installed In My Computer, It Was A Fake DWM.exe That Was Located In C:/Windows/Desktop Manager, Thats Weird Because I Know DWM Shouldn't Belong There, Once I Booted Up My Laptop, ESET Alerted Me Right Away About The Virus And Quarantined It. It expired so I went to Best Buy for Webroot. There was a licensing issue so I demanded a refund, got it, and bought Kaspersky. Its good, but after this license expires, I'm going with ESET no doubt. Best paid AV out there IMHO

i use this anti virus alot and been using it more then any other anti-viruses , it doesnt slow down ur computer witch it most important thing with Anti-viruses . then when viruses hits it doesnt show as Norton does but maybe cos Norton lets the virus in and then kill it but Nod32 doesnt . only an experience guys like Matt and othesr knows that .

Dont use security essentials if you want to block malware; its leakier than a seive. For tight customers I sometimes suggest they use it; then often quite quickly theyre calling me up to get help removing malware. Check out this guys review if you dont believe me.

@r0ck3t1337 the user and common sense. isolate your web browser (sandboxie or GeSwall) for browsing the internet then pick an antivirus for real time protection and then pick a firewall of your choice. Keep windows up to date and your antivirus up to date and you are good to go. There is no best,try and see what combination you like and what suits your system. For example I use Sandboxie and Outpost Firewall Pro, that is what I use and it suites my system.

@ADIMM0 Firstly I didn't say MSE is the best, but as far as free antivirus suites go, it's come a long long way these past couple of months, and believe me when I tell you as a former AVG user, MSE is far better. Yes Avast is good, probably one of the best if not THE best free antivirus out there, and I'm a Comodo user currently. Not because it's any better but because It looks cool and I prefer some of the features it has. Trust me MSE is on par with alot out there. Peace
